Macbook Air 2012 Order Status thread

Yours was on the same flight as mine, so its most likely going to memphis with mine (there are 2 FedEx flights leaving within 5 minutes of each other for memphis). Hope that it gets to memphis fast enough for them to process it and send it out on their trucks overnight straight to your dest. I HAVE had that happened to me before

So there are 3 of us with MBAs on those flights! I hope we all get them tomorrow!! If not, I'm going to have to make a big SIGH tomorrow!

I think so. The flight is supposed to land at 11:30ish central time

I ordered mine Tuesday afternoon...no status change on the web, but the laptop charge went through on my credit card about an hour ago. Does that mean the status should change shortly?

Apparently not - since my order is still sitting in "processing items."

I ordered a 13" MBA/128/8GB at night on 6/12. This morning around 9EST, it switched to preparing for shipment. It's been that way ever since.

A lot of people seem to be concerned if they don't get it on Friday, they have to wait until Monday. Doesn't FedEx deliver on Saturday though, or am I missing something?

To most areas they do as part of business day shipping.

FedEx express won't deliver on Saturdays unless the shipper requests that as a special service.

FedEx home delivery for ground shipments will deliver on Saturdays by don't deliver on Monday.

There's a direct FedEx flight from Anchorage to Newark that left at 3:57 Alaska Time. It's FedEx Flight #92 and I hope my MBA's on it.

Really?!? So if the 'In Transit' time stamp leaving Anchorage is 3:57 then it's likely that I'm on that flight? I thought they all went through Memphis. I guess going straight to EWR for the Northeast make sense.

I thought about the 11", but I looked at one in an Apple Store and it was just too small.
