Macbook Air 2012 Order Status thread

My FedEx tracking page showed a estimated delivery date of tomorrow all the way until the package was dropped on my front porch. I guess I just got lucky with the flights mine was on and got it a day earlier than the tracking said I would. BTW all of those photos were taken with my iPhone 4S :D
 
Fedex says my MBA will be here the 19th. They also say my Thunderbolt ethernet adapter will be here the 18th even though it's in my home town as of 8 hours ago, so that'll be here tomorrow. Hopefully Monday for the MBA
 
Shipped.

Although it doesn't give me a courier name and:

"Please Note: Your items dispatched from different locations and will be merged together before delivery. Once merged, your Order Status will be updated with carrier and tracking information (at latest 48 business hours before your estimated delivery date)."

So I guess I will have to wait even longer for them to ship it to themselves, open it, add the voucher, reseal it and reship it to me...

So I got an email today that said my iTunes gift card shipped, but not the computer!??! :confused: I thought they came together? Computer still says processing after 2 1/2 business days. What's up Apple?

Did anyone notice that their gift card shipped at a different time than the computer?

My gift card just shipped this morning, and my MBA is still "preparing for shipment."

The tracker says the gift card is coming from South Carolina so, given the MBAs are coming from China, I guess we shouldn't be surprised that they are shipping at different times. Still weird though.
 
Those who had theirs shipped late last night/early this morning should expect it to land in anchorage Alaska in about an hour, then it will be sent to Memphis

Same here, my GC shipped from SC this morning although my MBA is still 'processing'.

Ordered about 42 hours ago.

Update:

The Magsafe 2 adapter has shipped and will be here tomorrow while the gift card just updated to shipped.

The most important part, the Air, is still processing but the original estimated arrival dates of the 19th-21st are still listed.

They are actually mailing physical cards? Kind of a head scratcher there. Don't see any reason why they wouldn't just e-mail those things out.

Aaah finally it is now in preparation for shipment. This after 52 hours.

13" ultimate and a time capsule.

Overnight mine has shipped, got the email at 2:00AM, 13" i5/8GB/256SSD. Have a tracking number for TNT but it's not working yet. Wish we had Fedex instead. So that still gives it almost three days to get here for Monday delivery :)

My chargers were a few miles away early early yesterday morning, they decided to wait until today to deliver because "Package not due for delivery."

I hope you get yours before the ETA though.!:D
 
I ordered mine Tuesday afternoon...no status change on the web, but the laptop charge went through on my credit card about an hour ago. Does that mean the status should change shortly?
 
I've been tracking mine all day and now it says it's in Alaska! I hope they overnight it to Dallas today so it can be out for delivery tomorrow... otherwise I'll get it on monday :/

MacBook Air 11" i7 8GB RAM and 512 SSD + Gift Card + Thunderbolt to Eth.

Ordered Tuesday at 10h (France).

It will be flown out from alaska to memphis in an hour, then it will be driven to the ginal destination. Mine had a delivery date for monday but if it can get to memphis tonight, then there is hope that it can be delivered to michigan tomorrow.

ETA: 6/18-6/20

Ordered a trackpad/keyboard/2 MS2 adapters and a MBP 12South Stand, all of which shipped on the 12th/13th and est delivery tomorrow to WI. Hoping to get the MBA before Wednesday morning next week before I go out of town for a week and half...

Yours was on the same flight as mine, so its most likely going to memphis with mine (there are 2 FedEx flights leaving within 5 minutes of each other for memphis). Hope that it gets to memphis fast enough for them to process it and send it out on their trucks overnight straight to your dest. I HAVE had that happened to me before
