Macbook Air 2012 Order Status thread

I'm pretty sure Fedex doesn't deliver on Saturday for regular service unless the shipper requests (i.e., pays extra) for it.
Mine is also sitting in transit since 3pm yesterday in AK. Stinks. I have no idea if it actually flew to Memphis last night and is just sitting there or if its still in AK. I was hoping it might come Monday a day earlier since it seemed things were moving quicker than normal.
I am having mine shipped to Anchorage (to pick up at the Apple store while I am in town for work)
My question for the Fed Ex gurus out there... is since most Fed Ex goes through the hub in Memphis before final destinantion.... if my MBA ships from China through Anchorage (as that seems the normal route) do they take it off for local delivery, or does it to to Memphis and get sorted and routed back to Anchorage.

Mine did end up arriving Friday morning!

MBA11, I7/8 gig/256 sitting in Anchorage.
I've heard of things like that happening on the forums for previous releases of Apple products. Not to worry though, FedEx is good, FedEx is wise.
Sitting in Oakland. Should be on time for Monday. Think I'll head down to the Apple Store to satisfy my impatience.
I went ahead and bought a maxed out 13" Air today at the Apple store. Will return my unopened Air that gets delivered Monday. Didn't plan it this way but ordered the computer expedited on Monday.

I did the same thing only I bought a 11.6/2.0/8gb/256gb my online order coming is 11.6/2.0/8gb/512gb.
The price difference is a lot... not sure which to go with??
Well it arrived at my local hub. Stopped by there to see if I could pick it up. No go, all of Monday's deliveries are containerized and sealed until early Monday when trucks are loaded.
I will have to wait for Monday.
Correct. FedEx Home Delivery, which is a service offered by FedEx Ground, does offer saturday delivery, but does not deliver on Mondays.
FedEx Priority International Direct Distribution acts like FedEx Express, and only commits to delivering on business days.
I think over time you will be happier with more storage. But at the price points offered that's clearly a judgement call.
Mine traveled from Memphis to St Louis, presumably so it's ready to deliver to me on Monday.
No movement for me all saturday. And mine is actually sitting at the FexEx sort facility on the other side of town - as of 6:11 saturday morning!
So, my expected delivery is Tuesday. Since the thing is already 'here' in town, shouldn't it get to me some time on Monday now?
