Macbook Air 2012 Order Status thread

Exactly! I wish we were given some sort of update.

I might just call my local Apple Store to see if they get one early, and if so, maybe I could claim it. :)
 
As of about 30 minutes ago, mine is at my local FedEx facility. No update yet whether it is out for delivery or not.

I'm thinking if it doesn't change to "out for delivery" then I can give them a call to see if I can pick it up a little later. Either way, i SHOULD be getting my MBA today.
 
Mine is in Vancouver this morning. Only one 2.5 hr flight to go to get up north. Not sure what plane they use to get it up here but I think they just put it on Air Canada or Air North both of which come up this morning but don't get here till around noon. We will see if they get it out to me this afternoon. However, I think the estimate of Tuesday that Fedex has may still end up being true.

This evening I will prepare my existing 2010 11" Air for sale by wiping it back to Snow Leopard. My old one is the maxed out version and my new 11" is a 2.0GHz, 8GB, 256GB.
I'm upgrading to get some better performance with LR4 preview generation times and general LR4 speed increases. This is the only thing my C2D can't do very well.
 
I didn't know what woke me up this morning until I went out to get the mail to find a missed delivery slip on my door. Kind of odd considering the tracking number through Apple still places my MBA in Memphis, TN (I'm in Georgia) with a delivery date of Wednesday.

When I put in the door tag number, it is clearly the Air, so I guess I will go pick it up after 5pm today.
 
Should I expect it before 10:30AM or was that only an estimate that was obviously a day off for all of us? Not sure when it'll come, gotta make sure someone's home.
 
Ordered on Tuesday (6/12) and just arrived at my door a few minutes ago!! I'm at work though, so I don't get to open it until I get home :(

Delivered 1 day early, this morning at 8:55 am, instead of tomorrow by 10:30 am. Except I am at work. :D Oh well, my wife brought it in off the front porch. I know what I will be doing when I get home. :)

LOL, hilarious! I got a text from my wife this morning as well, came in on the day I thought it would, but a day earlier than the 3 days I was quoted (there was no expected delivery date at any point in the FedEx status site). Will be working on getting it set up tonight for work tomorrow and it delivered before I'm going out of town for a week and half :)
 
same as all of you, but mine is going right back to the store since the stores by me had them all in last week

i got the same model you did and love it. I was worried about an 11" screen at first, but it is perfect and i don't even use full screen mode
