Macbook Air 2012 Order Status thread

I didn't know what woke me up this morning until I went out to get the mail to find a missed delivery slip on my door. Kind of odd considering the tracking number through Apple still places my MBA in Memphis, TN (I'm in Georgia) with a delivery date of Wednesday.

When I put in the door tag number, it is clearly the Air, so I guess I will go pick it up after 5pm today.

Luckily Fedex came back by for another attempt. Setting up my new Air now!

I ordered on the afternoon of the 12th.
FedEx estimates that it'll be delivered by Wednesday 6pm.
The tracking page claims that it left Memphis at 8pm yesterday but it's 5pm of the next day and no change
I'm getting it shipped to Ontario, Canada. Anyone familiar with the routes FedEx takes for Canada and why it would say it departed memphis yesterday but nearly 24 hours have gone by without change? Thanks.

Good to know, this is the first apple product I order online
Still kind of strange how nothing has changed for 24 hours even though it says it departed? Or can that mean that it's waiting too?

Mine said Ontario at 1am Saturday and the next update I got at 6AM monday morning was on Vehicle for delivery in Calgary

Ordered 13" 2.0/8/256 on Wednesday. FedEx attempted delivery this morning and no one was home. Got lucky, our FedEx driver was in the area and just delivered it. Saved me a trip to the office.

Ordered on the 13th of June. It initially said delivery would be the 19th to the 21st. Well, my mba 13" arrived this morning. It's funny because the fed ex guy had to have it delivered before 10am, but i saw that my gift card was out for delivery for the same day. He didn't have the gift card when he dropped off the mba. I'm like huh, must be on a different truck. Wouldn't you know he was back in two hours. He didn't know he had another thing in his truck for me yet. Any way I haven't even opened the shipping box yet. I'm about to though. Ooooooooooooh yes.

Ordered i7/256gb/8gb on 6/13 and just received an email stating my order is ready for pickup at the Apple store. Estimated pickup date was 6/23.

Awesome. I ordered the same thing on 6/14 and awaiting pickup. Fingers crossed.

Just got mine delivered this morning.

I had ordered last Tuesday night and it shipped Friday morning from China, and was delivered at about 9:30 a.m this morning, 49 hours ahead of schedule.

Got here this morning! Quick migration from cloned disk and I was able to take it to work and use it all day. Definitely faster than my 2010 11" MBA.

ordered the day after release tue 6/12 my mba 11" i7/8/256. scheduled arrival 6/20. got it today 6/18. pleasant surprise!

had originally ordered mon 6/11 a 11" i5 but canceled the order. since i used edu discount and back to school, they had to cancel the gift card. but customer service was great an applied the $100 towards my re-order. so i effectively got to use my back to school $100 towards purchase. perfect!

backing up my 2010 mba 11" now with carbon cloner onto an external usb drive before cloning onto the 2012 mba.

I love FedEx - Not

here's a nice one (I live in Reno), package apparently arrived Sunday Night, sat for 24 hours, then shipped out to the east coast. Called Fedex, they say it never really was in my hometown, just the manifest, not the package.

Scanned 3 times in Reno and then having it shipped to Boston just doesn't make a lot of sense. Apparently, they scan the weighbill, not the actual package.

I ordered at the same time as you and mine got here (Toronto) this morning. However, mine was a stock config. If you did a BTO it might take a couple of extra days.
