I would say very likely. I have ordered many things overseas via fedex and the day of, the shipping date gets updated.
Everyone asking about my order, here is what happened.
I originally had a BTO 13" placed about 2 minutes after the store came back online Monday. Late that night (about 2 AM) I called Apple because my order was saying "Awaiting Action" in red and not even Processing. So after about 1.5 hours on the phone, we decided to restart the order without the BTO, so the base model 13" and the Apple rep accidentally messed something up, so he gave me FREE 2 day shipping and a FREE Thunderbolt cable (normally $49.99)
I woke up the next day, and Tuesday around 12:00PM Central time it moved from processing to Preparing for Shipment, stayed there for 15 hours and at 3 AM this morning it shipped.
Still no luck from the Back to School card.

It is *possible* but of the hundreds of time's I've used FedEx, their Estimated delivery is almost ALWAYS dead accurate.

just went through with a MBA order online through the apple store. 256/8gb/2.0GHZ/13". ships out the 19th to the 22nd. can't wait.

I do think Apple missed the mark on the interest in 13"/8GB/256 - I went by the local store and would have purchased there if they had something in stock, but the only 8 GB option was paired with 512 SSD, and that's just too pricey.

nope flight stats for flights from shanghai to anchorage, and the next cargo flight is at 7:45 am china time. They could have 0 apple products or 100 but it's most likely a FedEx cargo plane

I feel your pain. Ordered my 11 inch / 8GB / i7 a couple hours after the announcement, and they have been "processing" my junk ever since.
I'm interested where are the people who are "processing" located, and what was your predicted original delivery date.
It seems obvious that US deliveries are more likely before the end of the week, as for them it's only still Wednesday. It's already Thursday in Australia, so even if mine ships today (it went preparing for shipment last night, and it's 8:34 Thursday morning now) it won't likely arrive in the country until at least Saturday our time. But if US orders shipped today my time, they'll probably arrive Friday their time due to crossing the wonderful International Dateline.
My delivery date of 18/6 was firm when I ordered, but I just went and tried another order and the estimated delivery date range was 18-22 June.

call them and see whats up, it's only supposed to be in processing for 24 hours. i called around hour 28 and they said it was done processing and it's sent to the warehouse.
