Um, we've already got the "order status" thread, is a "shipped" thread really necessary?

I'm going to call at 11am tomorrow if it hasn't changed from processing by then because that will be two and a half business days after my expedited order. If it's still processing then, I will be asking for a shipping cost refund.
I actually think your MBA is still in China. It is just moved out of the FedEx whse. There is no indication that it has an international "release"
I hope I am wrong as mine is showing the same status.
My 13"/8/128/i5 just went to "Preparing for Shipment." But, my back to school gift card is still stuck at "processing items."
Umm, I hope apple realizes that when I paid that extra $14 for expedited shipping, I contracted to have my WHOLE order expedited. At this point, I doubt the card will arrive within the stated June 14-15 timeframe.
Should I be complaining now that I'm seing some progress? Maybe some of you would say 'no,' but I'm not impressed when it takes 54 hours to get 1/2 my items past "processing."
FYI, I ordered around Monday at 4ish.

Mine just shipped with a delivery date for monday, any chance i get it friday? It could leave Shanghai soon and get to wherever the hub is (alaska?) in the morning
My MacBook Air just landed in Memphis, TN. Didn't go to Alaska at all. Straight from Shanghai, China to Memphis.

Took like 19 hours.
My tracking is showing the same thing. Packages usually go in and out of super hub (Memphis) in less than two hours and head for their destination hub. So a delivery today in about 12 hours is realistic for me since I'm on the east coast. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
Wonderful. Ordered immediately after WWDC keynote (13/128/8).....still processing. Delivery still shows 15th-19th. Unless my MBA is already in the country and they just haven't updated my tracking/status stuff, there's no chance I'm getting it this week.

Went in and ordered at my University's bookstore so I could get a special package deal they do on software. I ordered a 13"/128/8 (expedited) and have no tracking number. So I just sit here and stare at my phone, waiting for my bookstore to call me! :-|

Sounds like many of us went with this same BTO build and we are all just competing on the assembly line.

Thursday 14th (morning) : preparing for shipment
