I know that products get updated as new technology is available, and prices decrease once a product starts not being so new, and I welcome that. What I criticize is Apple's desorbitant pricing (e.g. why, instead of lowering the price of the MBA now, simply release it for the same price as the old one from the get-go?) or holding on to features that they could afford to include in their base models while keeping competitive pricing (e.g. TrueTone), only to keep their premium products premium. What not try to be leaders in innovation instead, and offer new exciting features that the competition does not have? Apple has every right to have this business strategy, but it's a crappy one in my opinion. Like airlines making conditions in economy class worse only to lure people into first class, instead of actually improving first class...
