click select and under summary it should say 1-3. at least it does for me... I'll try and restart my browser. maybe something weird happened.

It only say that when I change the original configuration (like changing the hard driver or adding memory... etc)

Otherwise each configuration, from the 13" to the 17", they are shipped in 24h. But it seems that it's another story for the ones who had just ordered theirs. (estimated date of delivery 3 - 9 march for mbp ordered today or yesterday)

yea... I asked an apple rep, it seems to be some sort of glitch =/

I restarted my browser though, and as long as I have an education discount applied the MBP says 1-3 days.

I was just checking apples page about this iPad. It says that the iPad will be shipped in late march or in april. Doesn't this have anything to say on the release of the new Macbook pro? I mean, to me it sound like we're GUARANTEED the MBP within March. And since the two holy dates we're talking so much of here is the 2nd and the 14th, I'll place my bet on either of the two. Offcourse hopefully the 2nd :p

every day i read these forums, i see the dates get pushed further and further ahead... its painful!
 
I say 2nd March

Anyone knows more rumors about the macbook pro. I think that macrumors forgot the macbook pro:p
 
I really really hope it's for 2 march, but i really really doubt it lol. I've been following this forum for 2 months every day/every 2 hours now, and people keep saying week after week: "it will be next tuesday for sure!".
It would be just too good to be true. However, 16 march seems more reasonable to me. If it doesn't happen on that day, I fear the worst.
 
I know that it's going to be the 14th or somewhere far out in the month. It just make sense with my expectations... :(

Though I think it would have been more logic to release it the 2nd. I mean, that would create a pretty big leap between MBP and iPad. Hopefully that is what Apple want so that people have time to save up some money and buy the ipad aswell.
 
I think that 14th march is for the ipad (all models). In 14th march they start the orders of that product.
It's because i think that when they update mbp, they will do the same for mb air (all models are 6+2 8)

You know? Oh please show where you got this info, so many people have claimed to "know" release dates, please be different and show some evidence.
 
Just A Thought!

so since we ALLL have been waiting for soooo freakin long, do you think the reason for the wait...besides getting it perfect=) they might have a deal lets say with the Ipad if you purchase the new pros?!!?

While possible, they'd be able to achieve that just as easily with a pre-order available on March 2nd.

Doing it with the pre-order would make more sense, actually, since they might run into some stock issues if they were handing them out right then and there.

Yes, that's the only thing keeping me waiting, as well. But, hey, as someone else said recently, I can put more money in savings too in case the new level includes new levels of money necessary to purchase. :)

Did you never learn to read properly? I said it would make sense with my expectations cause I expect it very soon now...but it's probably gonna take a while. READ god damn it!

Hey Humber, reviewing your past posts which are full of the same ignorant trash talk you just threw out in your last post, which is completely unnecessary and disrespectful, why don't you find yourself another forum in which you can display your obviously staggering intellect? Hi :) I'm so sorry :( I didn't mean any insult in my post. You see...it's tough days around for me now. I just got suspended three days from school for something I DID NOT DO(!) and my mum has cancer. Thing is just a big pile of **** for me now...

I'm not really a bad person, I'm just very upset. And when this guy "Bob71" is throwing this in my face...well...that just equals in one raging and upset ME! I have to open some vents to let the preassure go down...unfortunatley I had to let "Bob71" take the **** in HIS face...

I'm sorry Bob. I didn't mean to be so rude and everything :(
 
How the hell is Humber not banned for a few days for cursing someone out and I got got banned for a week for asking someone to stop posting political crap.

Hell, I might get banned for a week just for saying that lol. Things are strange in these here parts...:rolleyes:

i came across this weeks best buy weekly ad and they are advertising the current Macbook Pro's this can mean they are probably trying to get rid of the current Macbook Pro's so that in the upcoming weeks they have no more of the current models and they can sell the refreshed models when they are announced. So since they are advertising them for this whole week i doubt there will be a refresh this tuesday but maybe the next one.
 
Question from a newbie on mac release dates

Hey guys, is everyone talking about the MBP being released on a Tuesday because they are always released on Tuesdays?

I assume that this is the case, but why is that so? I hope that someone can enlighten me :)
 
so the new mbp is coming out tomorrow right? :rolleyes: either i'll stay up to midnight or try going to bed really early to wake up to good news but i'm not optimistic. I finally saved enough money for the mbp I want but then I realized a new one should be coming out soon...that was in December. :( I speculate that the new models will wow us and I understand why it might take longer to update them but I wish they would come out tomorrow... And the iPad release date doesn't help the matter I think...

Sorry for that :) hope your mum get well soon.

Anyway I think new Mac will not be released before mid March :D so dont be upset if it's not gonna release tomorrow he he :D
