damn if only i had ordered it on monday.... I had that wait time too, and the option too I figured wait out till tuesday to see if the stores got them...
 
Just got my estimated delivery time as I may be ordering the 15" retina tomorrow.

Estimated delivery; 12th July - 18th July.

Edit: Do Apple take out the money straight away as soon as the order ships? Because I don't like the idea of being £1500 down for a product which won't arrive for 4-5 weeks.
 
I ordered on Monday about 4:30 eastern using the educational discount. My $100 gift card was just marked as shipped but MacBook retina is still processing

Apple will place an authorization on the card immediately but will not charge the card until it ships out of China.
 
Ordered mine at 1:50 pm (pacific) and mine is yet to be shipped. Only my damn education gift card just shipped. Seems like everyone else who ordered around the time I did has been shipped!

I ordered a Retina display MBP with 16gb of ram, and the magsafe adapter...


My Magsafe adapter is on the way already (How terribly useful by itself...), the laptop is showing "Delivers 13 Jul - 19 Jul via Standard Shipping" and my back to school gift card is showing "Delivers 19 Jun - 20 Jun via Standard Shipping"



I had to sell my 2011 17" MBP before ordering, so I didn't get a chance to order the new machine until last night :( It's going to be a fun month trying to run my business my a mac mini server with too little RAM and a C2D Processor :eek:

Base with 16gb here. Ordered 2p Pacific of Monday. As of this afternoon, now preparing for shipment! Hopefully will beat the June 21 estimate.

I ordered 256 GB / 16 GB 2.3 Ghz and I'm still processing Order... scheduled for Jun 29th - Jul 6th.

Hope something like that happens to me too :)
 
Ordered RMBP base, right after site was back up. At Fedex in China should be here by 18th. Pretty excited. My dad will be getting my 13 inch MBP for Fathers day. He wants the retina but $4k on two computers is a bit much.... :rolleyes:
 
Mine is a Retina 16GB/512GB/2.6GHz, ordered on Monday around 4:30PM EDT. It's been showing as preparing for shipment all day (was that status this morning, and still that way now at 9PM EDT Wed)
 
MBPR 256gb 16gb RAM ordered at 3pm pacific day of keynote is still processing with a June 22 -26 delivery date set. The wait is killing me, but I am glad to see some people at about to receive their new machines.
 
Looks like a batch of the base + 16GB MBPR are shipping now...mine just changed to 'Preparing for Shipment' as well.

Ordered a few hours after the store came up on Monday, originally slated for delivery on the 22nd-26th.

Why not give him Cash or GC towards a RMBP instead? None of my business of course, but from a personal perspective - I would hate it if someone gifted me something that wasn't exactly what I wanted, but would also prevent me from getting it myself (like if I received a laptop, it would be silly of me to buy another that I wanted more).
 
Yeah it does indeed make sense if that's the case in China.

What about others? Mine says my gift card should come by tomorrow or 15th but it hasn't shipped yet or anything.

Although it's good to see shipments are rolling out. Shouldn't be long before they get to everybody who ordered on Monday.
