Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

Is anybody else obsessively looking at the spreadsheet, this thread and your order status as much as me??!!!
 
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY MY MBP HASN'T SHIPPED YET?!

I am totally going crazy right now and I just want closure. I ordered this mother on 6/11 5pm EDT. Just 3 hours after the online store came back up. 3 HOURS!

And everyone gets theirs before mine. Whats going on here?

I got the 2.3/8/256 with education discount btw.
 
I don't think we will see movement for another 5 hours. It's like 5AM in China and right now.
 
Honestly, as long as I get my shipment on the first of the "predicted" days, I don't care if they mix up the order a little bit. Especially on the BTO laptops.

I ordered the same config at 11pm Eastern and mine has not shipped either. The ones that shipped last night seem to be BTO. Hopefully stock ones ship soon! If I were you and it didn't ship tonight or tomorrow, I'd call Apple.

Just cancel your order and get it somewhere else. The base models are all over the web. Not very hard to find.
 
when is the next fedex plane out of shanghai?

Don't get why my card was charged but order status still shows processing?

You make it sound so easy. Name on retailer that will match the 2.3/8/256 that is close to the edu price of $2117 (includes tax) and has it in stock.

Call and complain, and demand free next day shipping. Not exactly what you want, but will shorten time a good bit.

Lol. Already did that. I paid for expedited and then complained about all of you getting it for free, so they refunded.

Be nice, I was able to get it for free + made them throw in a thunderbolt Ethernet adapter for free.

I originally ordered stock 2.3 within first hour after store came online. But when I found memory is soldered, I cancelled the order and placed new order on 12th with 2-3 weeks (July 3 - 10 delivery)
 
Same specs and order date; hope my status changes soon.

I ordered the same specs on the same day! Hope mine changes soon. One hope I have of this happening is that when I tried to change my shipping to expedited earlier today the Apple rep said the system was locking him out of making any changes to my shipping method. I took that as a sign things are about to change. Fingers crossed. ;)
 
At first this thread was a nice way to kill some time and get a little nerdy tracking down and anticipating our shipments. now its turned into trolls ruining a community spread sheet and people whining like a bunch of spoiled 5 year olds because they are not getting their new $3k toy shipped earlier than apple said they would.

Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to get my rMBP 2.7/16/512. Like literally cant wait... My early 08 MBP just crapped out on me and I can't complete any of my design work until the new one shows up at my doorstep.

But as long as Apple delivers me a package by July 6, (ordered at ~11 pm 6/11 - 2 to 3 week) I'll be a happy.

I'm not going to have a piss because somebody got theirs first, or they didn't deliver before the first estimated date.

I think people forget how massive of an operation this is. Apple is trying to manufacture and fill an absurd amount of orders, stock stores, and supply retailers. Just be thankful that A) you have the money to afford one of these machines and B) that there is a company named Apple that makes a product actually worth throwing your money at.

I think actually you can get within $50 of that price from one of the major online retailers like MacMall and B&H. The trick is finding one that doesn't find sales tax in your state. I know MacMall was about $45 more than Apple (after the $200 EDU discount).
 
Ordered pretty late the 11th. Finally preparing for shipment.

See bold. I already knew both of these third-party sellers have listed the item at a reasonable price, but neither of them have it stock and can ship on immediately on Monday, otherwise I would cancel and order straight away.

Does not matter when Apple estimated them to be shipped, as those were obviously conservative estimates. The issue is that people with the same configurations that ordered after other people are getting theirs shipped before.

And you right we did pay 3k for this right after Apple said "Shipping Today" but instead were stuck in "Proccessing" for weeks without any updates on whats going on.

BTW you might consider it a 3k toy but there are people out there that actually base their work around these machines and it actually matters to them when they get them.
 
Did i see somewhere on here that a 6/15 order is prepping? I cant find it now. Ill need some proof.
