Ok...I know I'm a nerd but I just calculated the $15 shipping charge along with my local 8.75% sales tax and guess what...it comes to $16.31 - Something is going to ship soon...

I was charged $16.94 on one of the cards I'm paying with, and the charge was removed yesterday. Incidentally this happened on the day I called to get "free" expedited shipping on my order, so that's all it is unfortunately.
I got it today this morning. It took 2 days from china to my door. Hours from preparing shipment to shipped. FedEx delivered it before estimate 2 days.

Very strange charge then. I'm stumped. I'm 100% certian that I did not place an order in the last 2 weeks for something that cost $15 + 8.75%. I wonder what that charge is?!?!
Looks like it is still being processed by US Customs. Considering it arrived in the US during the weekend, I would assume it will start moving again today.

Hmmm I just saw on the news that their was a near riot at the Memphis Airport when someone saw a Retina Pro laying on the runway.

You should double-check whether or your state taxes services such as shipping.
Sales tax rates and categories differ by state.

I'm pretty sure that shipping is taxable if the item being shipped is taxable. If the item is not, the shipping isn't either.

Most people have concluded it's FDX90, which would make sense as it was scheduled at 11:22PM, and we were scanned at 11:18PM. We're on this flight. Although the status isn't updating, I'm assuming it's in the air.
FlightAware - seems to be lagging a bit. Still showing 11PM departure
FlightStats - Showing updated departure time
It appears to be in the air, flightstats.com says it took off at 11:22 Shanghai Time, but we likely won't have any good information on it until it comes into US airspace and the FAA's database starts tracking it. This should happen around halfway ish through the flight, figure around 5:30EST.

Just checked and louisiana does charge tax on the shipping. Im now 99.99% sure that apple has charged my card for shipping the Retina.

I hate to break the news to you but Apple charges the shipping charge on the first item shipped so if they shipped your $100 card that is why the shipping charge shows up. IMO that is not right to charge you to ship a card that could be sent to you by email (the code). I was charged the $15 shipping with my card last week. Still just processing on my computer...
I ordered 2.3/8/256 stock rMBP at 5pm PDT from Sacramento, CA on 6/11. I'm a 2-3 weeker expecting delivery on June 28 - July 5. I'm still in "processing items". Ugh
