Well I'm in the 3-4 week bracket but checked this morning and it's preparing for shipment. Don't know what's going on there but hopefully means I'll see it sooner!

Any 3-4 weekers get an update?
Not I, but a few have.

BTW, I just looked at the spreadsheet, and some cockroach has purposely fouled it up. Again.

This is why the world is full of unreasonable rules and security measures. This is the reason people have less and less freedom everyday.

Because all these rules, security measures, and freedom trade-offs are necessary to keep the small percentage of people that can't control themselves under control.

The irony is, I bet whoever did this absolutely hates all the rules and regulations of society. Congratulations, you're the reason these things exist at all.

For those concerned about their 6/12's being shipped late, if you ordered after 11:59AM EDT (8:59AM PDT), your orders are actually in the 6/13 timeframe, due to manufacture dates being based off of the equivalent time in China.

But wouldn't people that ordered on the 13th be in the 6/14 bucket in china?

*removed for privacy* @gmail? keeps messing up the spreadsheet.

Not sure what you're insinuating, I just updated my order time on the spreadsheet from 10:30am to 10am, after I realized that from my order confirmation email. I updated it on Google drive from my galaxy nexus, so if it screwed something up, I apologize. Nothing intentional.

Unfortunately, it did. It made like 20 edits into weird formats and such. That is according to the history that I was looking at. Maybe someone else was changing it at the same time but it registered under that name.

There is a base and a 16gb model at Concord Mills BB in Charlotte. Just migrating my user over to the new RMBP now. Its pretty sweet.

I am literally almost the same! 1:00 pm central with the same order. Still processing..

...but that doesn't matter...we're all looking at the same thing since the beginning....it's going in line. Doesn't seem to matter what time it was in China. We are comparing our stats to what has already happened to others that ordered on 7/11.

I'd vouch for him. He's a real-life friend of mine. As for the Google Drive app, it's always been a bit buggy. So for what it's worth, he will avoid updating it through the app next time now that he knows.

My local Best Buy notified me that they received a Retina MacBook Pro today around 3pm. So I immediately dropped everything and rushed to the store. Walked out with a shiny new rMBP for just under $2200 (matched education pricing), but when I went home to cancel my Apple Store order, it was changed to "Preparing for Shipment." Now my credit card will over $4000 charged to it for two MacBook's until I can return the Apple Store one sometime between July 2 and July 9.
