Don't know where they got it but the UWS(NYC) Apple Store managed to get one next-day shipped to replace my 2.6ghz rMBP that has a bad case back. Originally they said it might take as long as 3 to 4 weeks. They called this afternoon and said to stop by tomorrow morning to do the swap. Sweet!

I was just thinking this same thing earlier today. I too am in the same boat as you, frantically refreshing my order page and hoping for some magic! 6/15 order at 10am CDT for stock model with 16GB ram.
Any explanation on why an order at 11am on the 12th would trigger an email at 9:28pm later that evening? Does this screw me out of a late june arrival?
I don't think it matters. Even if it does...you're only a 1/2 day behind where you would have been anyway !

Anyways.. rMBP ordered the 19th, 768/2.7/16
I haven't updated on the spreadsheet due to all the crazy that's coming along with it.. I'll put my info on it when my order comes in to make life easier.
Anyone hear about their 768's shipping out? Or anything?.. I know it's a often asked question, but I'm literally dying here with all the others that are waiting!

It's coming via Canada Post. Hence the lack of tracking. I was on the phone with Apple about something else and asked why there wasn't a tracking number. That was their response.

I was back and fourth between the 8 vs 16gb of ram. I figure it was overkill for what I needed. I just use iTunes, browsing Internet, and occasional gaming.
There is definetely a possibility if they can get the packages off the plane and sorted through the automated system and back onto a fedex plane to our respective states (Colorado here). I can see it getting to our states within 6-8 hours (not including time change) and onto delivery trucks. I really hope that happens. Though it might while we sleep... :/
