Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

Everything on my order says my shiny new toy will be delivered on Friday which is perfect for the weekend. Seems like the weeks of waiting are slowly coming to an end. I now become one of the lucky ones much to the disgust of the 3-4 weekers group...

How long does it take to go from preparing for shipment to shipped?

Mines already stuck at preparing for shipment for almost a day now

I think mine took about 8 hours. I saw the preparing to ship thing late evening and by morning it had shipped, so somewhere in between me being asleep.

I assume its just logistics and they get picked up in time for the next flight rather than a set time. Also Apple seems to be grouping orders together that are destined to the same country or region to beat customs and charges. Which makes sense.

Is it possible, yes; probable, not really. If you ordered yours on Sunday, chances are it won't ship 'til 2 or 4 weeks from that date.

I had to reorder mine on the 21st too, I doubt ours will ship anytime soon, they havent even finished shipping the orders placed in the first week (11-17th) yet. Might be in for a long wait.

My MBPR is sitting in the local sort facility, only 15 minutes away from me, but looks like it missed the delivery trucks for today (scheduled for delivery tomorrow). Have any of you guys had luck calling in to FedEx to see if they'll let you pick up the package early at the sort facility? I know they don't usually let you do this without a first attempted delivery, but I figure it's worth a shot.

Just done some research and TNT flight from Shanghai today its to its base in Liège and it was suppose to land at 1:40PM (local time I think).

So the plane might be already in Europe! We may see some updates in the next couple of hours...

I hope that estimate times are wrong! 2 days more from Belgium to Portugal seems to much

It shouldn't take so long to ship the package.. Yeah, it says "Shipped 2012-jun-26" and that was almost yesterday in Shanghai. Soon it's June 27 there, haha.

I haven't got any tracking number yet. Only a reference-number that starts with 820xxxx
