Seriously this pisses me off even more.

I have ordered this thing on the 11th. 3-4 hours after the online store opened again. Just three friggin hours! I have been waiting more than 2 weeks for a status change. I am like the only 11th guy that was still processing until yesterday and it still hasn't ship yet as of today. For the past few weeks I am sitting in agonizing pain behind my computer checking this thread. I am being tormented by people that got it sooner than me despite placing their orders later than me or just a few minutes sooner.

Seriously don't say anything at all

I ordered one the 12th at 1pm CDT. I bet my Macbook that I will be in the same boat as you. It is just how my "luck" is on these type of things. Look back over your life and I'll be you find yourself in this "boat" more often than not.

My brother-in-law is the exact oppoiste. He has the power to call in a 3 week out order and the rep say..."oh, you're in luck, I see we just got a big shipment...I'll send yours out today free of shipping charge" ! No kidding, this happens to him all the time.

Me on the other hand has in the past called to inquire on an order and be told, "it is still processing...don't worry...it won't be long"...then I'll get an email saying I cancelled the order...(the rep had some kind of freak error when I called)....this has happened....

...there are the lucky ones...(ordered on the 14th and shipped) and then there are ones like you!....

However, my kids are healthy and safe and I have never had to worry about their well being....so all is good !

Whoever it is that feels the need to screw with the spreadsheet to get off, I pity you. I'm relying on it to get a fair idea of when my 6/15 order will ship, as are many others following this thread. Why do you need to act like an immature tween to make yourself feel important? Can somebody who has a copy saved please try to revert changes and try to get it back to where it was useful again? It would be greatly appreciated.

Some people are just absolute retards with nothing better to do. Little things like the spreadsheet-ruining, and posts from people whining like surjavarbaby make me feel worried for humanity.

Hmm. Now I'm worried again. Saw on the Swedish Macworld-site that they has an article about the "ghosting" problems with the Retina display-MacBook Pro. Like it's burn-in on the display or something.

Sigh..... I don't want to return my Mac again..! Do you guys want links for the video and an thread on Apples forum about it? Or should we just stay happy and don't worry everyone?

I read about that issue as well and it looks to be only a very small minority with this problem so the chances are you'll be absolutely fine.

There will always be technical faults with some items, I'm sure it's a tiny handful. I remember years ago I sent my old Powerbook for a new screen when Apple did a big re-call.

I wouldn't worry too much, have faith and you'll get a good one.

I sure hope so. I'm not in the mood of returning my Mac and have to call TNT/UPS again. NO.

I also ordered mine on the 12th at 1:31pm. Who doesn't hate waiting for something they paid for? I just hope this stupid tropical storm Debby doesn't slow things down.
 
Long story short... I ordered a base model with 16GB on the 11th. Last Friday I happened to be in an Apple Store and they had a regular base model in stock, so I bought it and canceled my web order since it was still in Processing status.

Now, I'm thinking I'd still rather have the 16GB model so I can do some virtual machines. So I talked to the Apple Store and they said they will order the BTO for me, allow me to keep the one I currently have until it arrives, and honor the full return (beyond the 14 days).

I did the order with one of their Business Team members (unsure what that is). So question is... do the custom orders placed in Apple Stores arrive any sooner?
 
Well guess what...

They just shipped my notebook just 5 minutes ago. Updated with tracking number and all. Went from processing on the 11th to preparing for shipment yesterday and now its shipped today.

On the FedEx online tracker it is saying "Delivery Exception- Customer or business not available" No truck has showed up, and my expected arrival date has been moved to 4:30PM tomorrow. Is there any way I can call FedEx and have them drop it off at a location so I can pick it up today?
 
Preparing for shipment since 2-3 hours or so.

Ordered 06/13 ≈12:00 GMT, base model with Ethernet-Adapter with 3-4 weeks till delivery hear in Germany.
 
So livid the 768 gb ssd orders STILL haven't shipped yet. Ordered on the 11th and the window is July 10-23.
 
Just changed to shipped now :D

Hoping like hell it gets here by Friday. Would be awesome to have it before the weekend!
