It's already begun! 2.6/16/512 ordered on June 14th, est jul 12th- july 18th and just went into Prepairing for shipment.Paid for the 2-3 shipping (might call them and see if I can get a refund). Apple has already charged my account. Hopefully I'll receive by Monday!

Ok thanks. I'm doomed then lol. There are not even many 2880x1800 images, let alone higher res.

For 3840x2400, if you like astronomy images, it's not bad. Actually, there's a few wallpapery images that aren't astronomy for that size, mainly because it's been around for over a decade in the IBM T221.
I was in the same situation (ordered 6/12, preparing for shipment since Monday) but mine finally shipped today (est. delivery 7/3 to Honolulu). My original shipping estimate was 7/3-7/10, but I had hoped it would arrive early after it moved to "preparing" on Monday.
Hopefully you'll get some progress really soon. 96 hours of preparing to ship felt worse than the 1+ week of processing

My card was charged around the same time my order went to preparing for shipment.
I am still stuck in the preparing to ship phase since Monday too. Ordered at 8:30 AM ALSO GOING to NYC (where I work at my job.) Yours and mine is probably in the same batch. I have called apple 3 times out of concern to see if there was an issue and they assured me there wasn't.

I called apple to ask why people who ordered later are getting their devices before me. The woman on the phone had no idea that it was happening. She claimed that they fulfilled as the orders come in. We all know that this isn't true. I told her that I knew that that wasn't the case. Then I asked for some free stuff. She said she couldn't do that...

don't orders go into "preparing" status around this time? I am hoping my June 12th order starts to get some attention. It's unbelievably annoying for us who ordered on the 12th to see orders from the 14th getting shipped.

Sorry, they must be holding up your flight out so that my MacBook can make his connection Sadly I have a FedEx estimate of a Monday delivery, so it doesn't look like I'll have it by the weekend. Hopefully they'll still make your delivery for tomorrow. It's certaintly still doable despite the hold up in AK.

It's certaintly still doable despite the hold up in AK.I'm not sure if it makes a difference but my order was originally on the 12th, when I found out that the RAM was not user up-gradable I called and changed it. My order page shows my previous order as cancelled but the original order number with an order date of the 12th. When I modified my order the timing went from 2-3 wks to 3-4 wks. I wonder if my order was still considered a June 12th order.
You know, they should just get rid of the input sheet.
(I figured you were talking about the old spreadsheet... no, the input sheet on the new one currently has ****** as the first thing you see. And I actually loaded that while at work.
