Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

I checked my shipping and it stated DEPARTED FED EX LOCATION of Anchorage on June 29, 2012 @ 4:51 pm
My guess is flight FX48 due into Memphis at 01:48 am.
There's an inbound flight to Memphis from China that will beat ours :-(
My estimated delivery date is still Jul 2, 2012 by 10:30 am

If FX48 were to turn south right about now they could land in my home town :)

Honestly, I think stuff keeps moving and our stuff has probably shipped. It's just a matter of the tracking info and website being updated. I bet when it changes to "Shipped" we'll be pleasantly surprised to see it is already en route, or in the states. Seems that most people have their orders out for delivery about 24-36hrs after the status changes to shipped (not counting weekend or holiday). My best guess is Tuesday delivery at best, but if not definitely Thursday. Sucks we have a holiday right now. I wish the 4th of July could be postponed until after I receive my new rMBP.
 
so now apple is doing 14th order or 13th.....hoping to see something's up on 19th next week
 
I bought a magic trackpad for my January 16th Order, I have used some workarounds to get it working on my windows pc, it makes me feel a little better about waiting.... blows my currents laptops trackpad to smitherines.
 
Haha, first of all, let me applaud your optimism. I hope you're right - have to say I'm pretty darn excited. Secondly, I've been thinking EXACTLY the same thing about the holiday. The first time in my life I've cursed a day off of work!

Also, looking at the spreadsheet I see that most people that had their status change to Preparing to Ship last Friday (6/22) had their orders delivered on the following Monday and Tuesday (6/25-6/26). The situation we're in is nearly identical, but one week later. We are probably even more likely to see a prompt delivery because there were a lot more orders piled up last weekend from the initial rush on the machines following the keynote.

Well, I am currently on FDX90.. but when they first say shipped, it's usually at Pudong Int'l about to fly out.

Hoping mine'll deliver tomorrow, considering I got 2-3 day expedited on my order.

I don't think Apple paid for Saturday delivery.

Apple does NOT deliver on Saturdays.. I am pretty sure after several shipments from them went over the weekend >.>

Side note, FDX86 landed in OAKLAND.

Been a long time lurker of the site and forums, been watching this thread closely since ordering my rMBP on the 13th.

I ordered a 2.6/16/768 with a 3-4 week shipping window and expected delivery July 11th-17th.

Been checking my order status around 3 times daily and checked today around 4pm PST and was still processing, said I wouldnt look til Monday again, but check tonight to see it as PREPARING FOR SHIPMENT.

I don't see many updates from people that got a 768 SSD, so i figured I would make a post to let the other 768ers know. I live in Portland, OR btw.

I also ordered a superdrive which shipped immediately, but I was out of town when it shipped so the drive got sent back to apple. I called and they ended up comping me the drive and sent a new one free of charge. Just one other way Apple has taken care of their customers, and they did this for me before I even found out they were giving free ones away, so good deal.

I'll post again when I have shipping stats.
 
Just got a status update - my MBP has been picked up by Fedex and is due on Friday the 6th (as per the Fedex tracking information).

To those that have their MacBook Pro retina shipped, how long did it take for preparing for shipment? Thanks;)

Same exact thing here. Got the email from Apple 30 minutes ago. Tracking says July 6, but if history is any indication I think we'll see them on Monday or Tuesday. That would put them in the same time frame as the orders shipped at the same time last weekend. Looks like we might beat the holiday. At least in the states, not sure about CA.
