Just want to make sure, but the HD is upgradable on the rMBPs right? Although it's proprietary I remember reading that it was. The only reason I didn't get a 768 was because I was hoping they would come down in price in the future.
Mine just changed to in transit from Shanghai.

Unless you live in the United States where Wednesday is Independence Day. Your FedEx tracking page should have an estimated delivery date. What is it?

Any movement for people who ordered on 17th?? Been almost two weeks! Mine still says processing...
Mine is sitting at the sort facility in Las Vegas, they will not let me pickup the package. I'm starting to dislike fedex.
Worst Independence Day EVER! Not only does it fall on a Wednesday, so we only get one holiday day off rather than two and a four day weekend, it's going to delay my rMBP arrival! Fedex estimates Friday. 🙁

I'm trying to figure out if it's flight FX28 to Anchorage or FDX48 to Memphis?
From what I understand they will likely become available aftermarket at some time, as has been the case with previous MacBook airs; however, due to the proprietary connectors the aftermarket drives will likely be quite expensive (based on prices for aftermarket ssd upgrades for previous airs). Hard to say if it would save you money or not to go that route vs through apple now.
Fedex requires signature for all Macbook shippings. You could either have someone else signed it or request for hold at Fedex store.
My June 12 order is now in my hometown. Only 1 mile away from my house. I have to wait for Monday! Who's yo daddy?
I don't know for sure, but I'm betting on FDX48. Anyone know how to know for sure?

FedEx told me I could tape a piece of paper to my front door with my signature on it and address it to the FedEx delivery person. This is the case only if your FedEx tracking info says an indirect signature required...
That being said I will probably wait around and go to work late because I am so anxious to have my hands on it 🙂
hmmm... it's just hard to justify $500 for an extra 256gb of space. I guess I'll just have to take my chances. Been living off a MBP with a 256gb HD for a while now although space constraints can get annoying at times.
