Well im disheartened. Still processing order, ordered within 5 mins of site up. 2.6/8/512 originally shipping said 3-5 business days, then went to 5-7 20-22, then stayed at 5-7 but moved to 21-25. And still no shipping info, no nothing. Seems like all who got 16g versions within my same window, are evn recieving them now.

Mine says the same thing, it is also schedule to delivery on the 18th
can't waitwelp, I called fedex and I had the nicest CS lady. She put the package on hold for me at the destination sort facility.She's not sure if it's already in a container on hold for the weekend delivery, but she put in a note in that I would like to pick it up today, and I should be expecting a call if that's possible. She guesses its a 50/50 shot.
Interesting, crossing my fingers for Monday.
Does FedEx deliver these on Saturday? I know they don't for ground packages. If it arrives in Memphis today, then it would definitely be in St. Louis tomorrow morning.
I would think so. Mine made it to the local facility at 7:30 and is already out for delivery this morning. Should be here in the next 15-20 min. (FedEx comes same time every day here)
No FedEx Ground does deliver Saturday as standard service. They don't deliver on Monday though. You may be thinking of UPS ground which doesn't del. on Sat. FedEx Air delivers on Saturday as a special service only, but our Macs are not designated for Sat. del. If yours arrives at the local sort fac. today then it's likely going to sit in the master container until Sunday.
Hopefully they get to changing our Processing status to prepare for shipment today for those in the 2-3 weeks area.
well.... I didn't put the hold in early enough.... ITS ON THE TRUCK FOR DELIVERY!!! WOOHOOOOOOOOO!
Still at local fedex facility. I had expedited shipping as well. What the heck???
just thought I'd add that my credit card was charged $138.74 less than apple's initial estimate - a pleasant bonus!

They don't all take the same route. My went from China -> Japan -> Alaska -> Oakland CA -> Ontario California, which is my local hub. Been there since 3:30am. Estimated delivery still says Monday but I think it might be delivered today.
Also, I believe FedEx will allow you to hold and pick up if it's not locked in a container. UPS will never let you until they have made one delivery attempt.

hey same here, on fedex vehicle for delivery. My last post last night was that there was no chance since it was still in Shanghai.
Do you know if the "by 10:30 AM" would apply to today? maybe not, their page shows Monday by 10:30 but they wouldn't leave it in the delivery truck until then right?

If its on truck it will be delivered today. Maybe not by 10:30 but today.
My fedex tracking took forever to update! It didn't update until like 9:05, but it was on the vehicle at 8:15. So there might just be a lag!! Theres still hope!
I saw mine had arrived to the local center early this morning and called to see if it could be picked up, they told me it was at the central hub and to go there.
I had a delivery date of Monday btw.
Went to the hub, freaked out as I saw trucks leaving as I arrived at 9am. Talked to the lady, said it was on one of the trucks that just left and should arrive by 10:30am today, and that international orders go out as soon they arrive so its usually an early delivery. I put on a signature with her in case it beat me back to my place.
As of 9:44, I am still waiting at my place and hoping she knew what she was talking about. Online tracking stills says Monday the 18th as the delivery date.
