Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

It's usually the same day, as in within 24 hours, not necessarily the same calendar day wherever you happen to be. For example, mine switched to "preparing for shipment" Thursday about 11:00 AM Eastern time, and switched to shipped sometime between midnight and 2:00 AM Friday.

Delivery is showing as Wednesday by noon. I'm assuming it will make it to Anchorage or Memphis later today and spend the weekend there, flying to Calgary to arrive there Monday morning - after which it should REALLY arrive Tuesday in Toronto, so I'll be interested in seeing how they stretch it to Wednesday. And it's no faster than their regular free shipping.

Thanks for the reply, not sure when it changed though. Hopefully I'll get it next week. :)

I'd say you can count on that - even if it doesn't leave China until Monday you'll still get it next week, unless you're in a remote area of wherever you live, like 2 days by mountain goat from the nearest airport.
 
Any guesses guys? My estimated date is still Monday, but its in my local distribution sort facility (I live in Towson, ~20 mins from baltimore facility). I'm not really sure where fedex orders go out around me since I always use UPS. Can it come today???

Now mine went from Shanghai directly to Memphis last night, and left Memphis at 3:00am central time. Never showed it being scanned in Anchorage.
 
Ordered within 2 hours of the store opening and it's still processing :-(
25.-27. it say's....we'll see.
anyone from germany already got a shipping notification?

Interesting I'm just outside of Baltimore just like you, and mine went through memphis last night not Indy. Hope you get yours today

I'm waiting for the golden moment myself in DC. Mines @ Dulles. Based on my history with FedEx I'd say, yes, highly likely. Check your tracking around 8-8:30am to see if its on the van. Then you are good to go.

It all depends on what FedEx's committed delivery sched is today (ours are not committed until Mon). But FedEx does not keep packages lying around for no reason. If they have a light sched they will deliver today, but not nec before 10am. Keep fingers crossed.

I live close to Tampa Florida and mine is in Tampa but shows Monday delivery. I guess we will find out. Awful to be that close and have to wait the weekend

That's so strange, I wonder why the different routes?! I planned on going back to sleep...... but now I'm just obsessively refreshing this fedex page!!

Update: It reached IAD at 5:30am local. So now I think it is fairly likely I'll get it today instead of Monday.

Not sure what the rules are about that. I will certainly try if that is the case. I was reading on Fed Ex site though that only the shipper can allow you to pick it up early before scheduled delivery. If anyone knows anything else I'd appreciate knowing. Also, if anyone has their's go on the truck for delivery here in Florida please post:)

In my experience (I've ordered a LOT of stuff that's come via FedEx), "at destination sort facility" that early in the day means it will come. Sometime between 8 and 9 it should change to "On Vehicle for delivery"

And when it says that you can start doing your happy dance. And don't leave the house if you're at home.
 
Mine just arrived at the local hub. Woo hoo. Next step would be on van for delivery. So hope is alive for all who's MBP arrived locally this AM. (I had to log on to my FedEx acct to find it was at the local hub. Regular FedEx tracking seems to be running behind as it still shows it at the airport hub).

I am about 30 miles from Tampa. Sometimes they send it from Tampa to a facility just down the road from me and then onto the truck. That's what worries me
 
So my gift card is supposed to arrive today, and it just arrived at the destination sort facility (where my laptop is)..... so i'm interested to see if both ship to day or just the gift card!!!

I reallllly hope!!! Its only a little less then 30 min drive from FLL Airport to my Facility!!
