Well bahumbug. Ordered just hours after the keynote and the darn thing darn thing lists Package received after FedEx cutoff which I assume means it wont actually have anything done until Monday? I hope not. I dont know.. makes me worried though.

Ordered within an hour after keynote - 15" MBP/RD BTO
Shipped today, estimated delivery date 18 Jun.
My gift card and RMBP departed 40min apart from Memphis with the gift card leaving first. The gift card is slated for delivery today while the RMBP for Monday. Could this really be happening? 40min = no RMBP for me Hoping for some FX magic!

, that sucks! My RMBP arrived at the sorting facility an hour before the gift card... i'm still waiting to see if they both get loaded onto the truck.
Bingo! Status just changed to "On Vehicle For Delivery". Again this is for a RMBP that was shipped yesterday AM, Shanghai time. So I would guess everyone in that same time frame, in a decent sized city, should see delivery today.

I'd like to have my new machine already as well, but it seems to me as if they have been beating most of the promised ship dates. I ordered the RMBP 2.6, 512, 16 w' ethernet adapter a few hours after the keynote ended. I was originally quoted 5-7BD ship date ant 6/22-26 delivery. My machine shipped last night and I have a 6/19am delivery quote from FedEx.
Was, and still is, "officially" scheduled for Monday, despite being on the truck this AM. Technically FedEx could still not deliver today, but unlikely.
Wow wtf.. Estimated delivery date Jun 20th. Really? 5 days to make it from China to Los Angeles? WTF!
Very disappointed. What really sucks is I don't work on Monday or Tuesday so I would be around to pick up but I work wednesday night and cant stay up the night before work waiting for a shipment... damn you apple!
Mine is still at sort facility. No change yet. Hoping it does soon. How far are you from the sort facility?
The only part I'm a little annoyed at is their lack of anticipation of those that would buy 16GB systems. I'm surprised that 2.6/16/512 isn't one of their 'standard' configs. They should've had a bunch of those ready to go, shipped to stores, etc.
Having said that, the fact that I got a system customized, built, and shipped to me in about a week is amazing. If you look at other sites where you can BTO a computer, it usually takes about a month to get it (Sony, HP, smaller companies too).
I'm about 25 mi from sort facility, but that's irrelevant since it goes to the local hub from the sort facility. Local hub is about 10 miles away.
Don't lose hope yet. FedEx tracking is rarely "real time." Give it at least until 9am.
If that was the case then there would be shipping delays for orders w/ 16GB RAM. But these are CTO, so no, Apple didn't stock pile systems.
Overnight mine went from Shanghai to TN directly. It got on a flight from TN over night and hit "at destination sort facility". It just changed to "at local fedex facility". I didn't know there's a difference? Maybe it'll get on the truck from there.
I called fedex and they said if it's not on a truck today then I have to call back and see if they'll let me pick it up.

I think yours and mine must be on the same flight because mine left Shanghai at 3:03 PM. What makes you think it will arrive on Monday instead of Tuesday?

Good question. Usually FedEx only allows after first del. attempt so I don't know if being on the truck alone counts. But since it's been removed from the master shipping container I can't think of why they wouldn't allow for p/u.

Yes. Local hub @ around 7a then on the truck around 7:20a.
I don't think the standard configs shipped any more quickly. I don't believe any of us who've had an order shipped actually are getting one that was built in the last few days.
Looking at everyone's tracking log, macbooks get shipped from china to memphis overnight, and from memphis to wherever its final destination is in ~6 hrs, getting ready for individual delivery by that day. look at apple9to5's photo
