Ordered around 3:00 - 4:00 on Monday. 7 - 10 day shipping.

I ordered a 2.3GHz, 16GB Ram, 256 SSD model and it originally said 5-7 day shipping. Estimated delivery Jun 22-26th. I woke up this morning and it's scheduled to be delivered today.

Funny ordered the same and my Estimated delivery is: Delivers Jun 21 - Jun 25 via 2-3 Business Days and my status still shows Processing Items. I guess random is random?

Not everyone. I ordered around 9:20PM EST (2.3GHz/16GB/256GB) and am still in the processing stage. Estimated delivery is June 29-July 6. I'm betting it will be late next week or early the week after at the latest though.

This is so sick. I ordered mine at roughly the exact same time and the exact same notebook and I am quoted 2-4 weeks.

This is so sick man. I am not even given 3.5 hours to sit down, examine the specs, read the opinions and make the decision thats going to cost me like almost twice my monthly salary. Its just insane how many people just have spare money to throw around and then still complain about the economy. How is it even possible that there are tons of people blind buying this within 1 minute after the store comes online without even considering the opinions or specs

Since you quoted my post originally - I'm happy to respond to your thoughts. In my situation, I just finished college and am still using my mid-2006 Core Duo 2.0ghz Macbook which is maxed out at 2gb of ram. It's an old machine that has been due for an upgrade for several years now.

I've been following the rumors for over two years now waiting to buy a new laptop. It is not an exaggeration to say I've been considering and saving for this purchase for years, so when it came out and I had the specs in front of me, I didn't need to do much considering. I bought the machine that best fit my budget and realistic needs.

Also, I checked - I ordered closer to 5pm central, if it makes you feel any better.

anyone else's computer stuck on the Alaskan flight to nowhere?

been 16 hours, so it should've been put on a flight to somewhere and scanned again, right?

Some folks have even had theirs delivered today and shipped from China at the same time.

Same with me. Really strange and frustrating. I've checked NewEgg and it says the same as FedEx. I'm in Ohio, so I expected it would be in Memphis or Indy by now like others.

Ask a Foxconn worker and a typical schedule is 10 working hours a day, plus one weekend day.

So it would seem that they do work weekends. Who knows about shipping being processed or anything though.

Yeah, it changed to shipped now. In less than 24 hours. But no tracking number yet. And what is this that I'm reading about gift cards? Why don't they just send such a thing electronically? Weird.

Tracking number takes a while longer.

I really don't know why they spend extra money to send physical gift cards or why, if they need to be physical, they can't have a stack in the warehouse and insert them in the box.

Seems to me the simplest thing would be to apply the card when someone registers the new computer with their apple ID.

I got 7-10 days and its still in processing as well.

Ordered about an hour after the canadian store came online (~6pm EST). Ordered through the education store as I'm staff at a university. Got expedited shipping.Expected arrival is Jun 27-Jul 3..Which seems late. Hopefully it comes before then.

I received my gift card today though, which was shipped out Tuesday from SC.

Yep I ordered on release day too; still processing. This is getting ridiculous! Some people who ordered after me have already received their computers but I haven't budged from processing. I only ordered the base model too Got my superdrive; giftcard has shipped.
Us 7-10 dayers are cursed.

Damn nice! I thought we were in the same boat but my FedEx tracking hasn't updated since leaving Anchorage 23 hours ago. If my package was on the same EWR plane as yours then I should see it within the next two hours, but since my tracking information hasn't updated I highly doubt it.

2.6/16Gb/512Mb ordered ~2h after store opened launch day, shipped yesterday and made it to the states via Memphis last night. Got to LAX and all the way to my town out on vehicle for delivery. Checked the status at 10am and it was "delivered" yet no sign of FedEx. Called them and the address they had on file was correct but the driver delivered it to a location on the other side of town... oops! They are sending the driver back to get the package and return it to its rightful home. Luckily it was left at a respectable business and they didn't open it!
