2.6/16/512 went from Prepared for Shipment to Shipped while I was asleep last night. Current status is that it just departed Shanghai.

Honestly I'm shocked - I ordered on the evening of June 28 and was given a delivery window of July 27 - Aug 2. Now my tracking number indicates I will have the computer in my hands on July 16, nearly 2 full weeks ahead of time.

Just an update on this. I checked my order status almost nonstop yesterday and it was still listed as Processing. When I woke up this morning, the status was Preparing for Shipment. It looks as if this status change happened about 24 hours after my card was charged (both of which happened on a business day). The charge in my bank account is still listed as Processing. With any luck it'll ship equally as soon and hopefully arrive before the end of the week.

Another update. I stayed up rather late last night and at around 1:30am CDT I recieved an email saying that my computer had shipped. It's expected to arrive on Friday at 10:30am CDT, and it couldn't come more in the nick of time for when I need a computer. If it is delivered by that time, I'll be one happy fella. I'll try and update again when it arrives.

Sounds strange ... I mean I don't know how it is possible - I ordered the same config in the morning on June 26 with the delivery window of 30 Jul - 03 Aug. It looks like you ordered yours 2 days after me having different delivery window and got it shipped that early while I'm stuck at processing ...

Anyway I'm happy for you and hope for mine to ship soon as well. What country do you have your RMBP shipped to?

I ordered on June 20. I think the June 26th shipment is a fluke, it seems that the June 19thish orderes are the ones being fulfilled now. I'm happy for the guy, though. Jealous!

Nice! Hopefully I'm soon - same config ordered June 27th mid-afternoon but still processing. Did you get in the 3-4 weeks available bucket when you ordered?

Ordered 2.3/16/256 on June 21 via a PO from our procurement department to Apple. I was quoted 3-4 weeks and 3 weeks is coming up tomorrow. Still no change from the Processing listed on the Apple order site. No delivery date has been estimated -- my guess is that it'll ship end of this week or early next week based on those whose are shipping now.

22 hours does sound odd, but the time now in Shanghai is 10pm. The above may have been in Shanghai time. Either they did not update the tracker, or it'll get sent out in about 12 more hours.
