Mine hit shipped today at 11am gmt. ETA is 20th, but checked on expo and it looks like its coming over by air. So it should be here sooner im hoping.

Base model btw, ordered 14/6.

Looks like mine went to Dallas at midnight probably by vehicle. I thought my service was out of FT Worth but waiting for the Out for Delivery message. I could drive to Dallas if it doesn't make the truck but no reason why not!

That's my current tracking info, it is being shipped to NJ, anyone with a similar shipping destination have any insight on the next move? Will it just get on the next flight into Newark from Memphis?

Mine took that route the day before and then seemed to get on a truck to Dallas. FedEx updates have been slower than usual.

Mine is still in Shanghai. I finally got a scheduled delivery date of 07/18. They pushed it back a day from what you guys have. I told Apple CS to stop using UPS when UPS screwed up the delivery of my iPad. Oh well...

Ordered on 6-15 late afternoon. Finally went into "Prep for shipping" on July 7th. Original delivery date was set for 7-16 thru 7-20. SHould be here by 4:30 pm, today the 12th!! So about 4 days early.

Edit: Found where it says. 20th July too, probably sharing the flight I'd imagine as I'm from the UK too. If so it looks like we have got lucky and managed to bag a direct flight compared to some unfortunate UK users where it went by Truck halfway through the journey. I think we should expect it even earlier than Apple's 20th July estimate.

I live in Vancouver, BC and my rMBP got to Memphis last night around 10 pm... Does anyone know where it would go to next? Memphis -> Vancouver? If so, how can I track the flight? Thanks!

I don't know 100%, but it looks to me that this one is going to be direct. Also worth noting that my MBPR is being shipped by Syncreon not Goldstar which seems to be the one who do the Frankfurt - London truck method. Syncreon were the logistics company who shipped my BTO iMac last year and IIRC that was a direct flight. For my iMac they shipped it on the friday and it was at my door and delivered by UPS on the Tuesday.

I think the 20th July is just the conservative estimate. I think it is reasonable that I could have my MBPR (and hopefully yours if we're on the same pallet) by Tuesday/Wednesday.

UK order here placed on the 20th of June and almost 22 days to the hour my status has changed from processing to preparing for shipment

Will drop it onto the spreadsheet but good to see a full spec machine placed just over three weeks ago finally coming this way

Anyone else in the UK tell me how long they waited for a same spec machine to arrive after the preparing status?

i order the rMBP on the 12th june, estimated dates were the 17th-23rd july.
I'm in the UK. also ordered a usb superdrive and applecare, with an education discount. it hasn't even been shipped yet, i'm stuck on 'processing'. still.

I think that you'd meet frustration if you try to pick it up before theyake a delivery attempt: I've done that before, and FedEx wouldn't give me the package because they are required by their agreement with Apple to make at least one delivery attempt. They were very polite but firm. Only after the first attempt could I pick it up at the depot.

Mine is out for delivery right now, but I'll have to pick it up when the driver returns this evening.

Partially capacity and range of the aircraft, partially..well just being weird.

Fedex flies two different aircraft types out of China, the MD-11s cant make the nearly 8,000 mile trip to Memphis in one shot (neither can the UPS 747's), so they stop for fuel in Alaska. The 777's can so those filghts often go direct (sometimes they don't). Fedex flies both types from Shanghai. How they pick what box goes on which plane they arent saying.

Fedex seems to unload the planes in Alaska which doesnt make too much sense to me, but the first RMBP I received (bad screen) spent a day there...then went to Newark and had to be put on another plane to Memphis before coming here.

The replacement I got today came straight to Memphis and was delivered a day early.

Well we have some movement on ours. Just checked now and my requested delivery date is 16th July. So that is when UPS pick it up and merge my student voucher. Hopefully I can get lucky and they can deliver it by Tuesday, but I'd expect Wednesday to be the latest

Should be the same for you unless you're not merging in transit, if that's the case you'll be getting it earlier haha.

My window is 7/27 - 8/2, but I hope it will be here in Italy earlier.

EDU purchase, with italian keyboard and 80euros of card for iTunes (it's written they will merge with the computer in Milan)

Ordered the same one but on 7/04 and it will be merged with the Gift-Card in Milan as well (I'm from Zurich, Switzerland).
Expected delivery is between 8/7 und 8/13.
But I hope "my precious" will be muuuuuuuch earlier in my hands.
