Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

I just got mine! :D about to rip it open now.

Unfortunately my opening won't be as exciting as yours, I already have an RMBP, but it's a base model I bought I Best Buy that I'll be returning later today :p still excited about the 16GB of RAM tho, and who doesn't love opening Apple products too? That plastic covering on the MacBook is the best part.

Still "processing", but my card was charged this morning, so things are moving along. Ordered 06/21 the 2.3/16/256 model. Looking forward to not checking this thread and my order status numerous times a day.

June 21 order through can edu 2.3/16/256. Last night processing, this morning preparing and within an hour of checking it shipped. Not sure when it changed to preparing but it was less than 8 hours of preparing.

I assume these move really quickly, hopefully I'll have mine early next week!

Looking back through this forum your definitely the latest order that has shipped.

did your order say "delivered by August 1st" like nine and then randomly ship early? Or did the estimated delivery date change before it shipped?

He's in Canada but close to the border. I assume shipping should be very similar.

Thx - I'm curious if I should expect any updates seeing as though it's weekend? Dying of anticipation
 
Okay, we'll give this a try. I just placed an order for a 2.3/16/256 EDU today (7/14). It says estimated shipping is 2-3 weeks, expected delivery Aug 6-10.

Here's hoping its quicker!

I guess since we've seen a few ship on Saturday via this forum, there's a chance your order status might change today. Not sure about Sunday though. I agree, this waiting is annoying. I wish I could just get one in my local store but they only have base models.

Has anybody seen anytihing besides base models in an actual physical apple store?

I've checked everyday this week in store and nothing yet- not 1

6/22 16/256 still Processing. No pending charge on CC either.

Going out of town on Thursday, when I believe the darn laptop will arrive.
When Fedex/UPS Say they can hold for pickup for 5 business days, that does not include weekends correct? (as the depot's are open weekends)

It hasn't shipped yet, but says "preparing for shipment".
The original order still shows:

Order date: July 3 2012
Ships: 3 - 4 Weeks
Delivers 2 Aug - 9 Aug via Expedited Shipping

I did choose expedited (which apple refunded me for), not sure where that comes in to play.

What a beast machine. Cancelled my Apple order and got the 2.6/16/768 model from Apt. Saturday delivery. Good luck to everyone else on the waiting list! It's worth the wait.

Interesting. Pretty much the same as me (I also paid the $15 for extra fast shipping). Except mine is still "processing" and says:

Order Date: July 4 2012
Ships: 3 - 4 Weeks
Delivers Aug 1 - Aug 7 via 2-3 Business Days

Interesting that you ordered a day before me but your delivery date is later than mine, but yours is already preparing to ship. Hopefully yours ships today and mine follows, although it still seems like most of the orders shipping are orders from June 20th/21st.

Which configuration did you order? Mine will be the 512GB / 16GB machine.

I wish I had ordered from APT on time. I was just a few minutes too late to get them on the phone and had to wait till morning to get the student discount and by then it was too late. :(

Shipped from Shanghai on Thursday night, arrived in memphis on Friday, and now it's in San Diego (where I live). So close, yet so far away!
And I'm guessing they dont ship on saturday:(

The strange thing is the estimation shows Tuesday, but I think it should be here on Monday!
