So close yet so far.

Ordered rMBP 2.3/16/256 on 6/19. Went to 'Preparing' on Thursday 7/12. Shipped that evening. Arrived at FedEx local hub in Framingham Mass this afternoon. Will be delivered Monday 7/16.

BUT I'll be out of town until next Friday 7/20. WAHHH!

Who's handling your delivery, UPS? Go to http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/track, enter the code from your Shipment Status page on Apple (mine begins with 1Z, if that helps) and it should show you.

Others are using expo.expeditors.com, but mine doesn't seem to appear on there.

There is not yet name of company... but on expo.expeditors.com I found my macbook is flying by China South. Air - 463. But when I will get tracking number for UPS/TNT? Now the machine should be in Frankfurt, Germany

Shipped from Shanghai on Thursday night, arrived in memphis on Friday, and now it's in San Diego (where I live). So close, yet so far away!
And I'm guessing they dont ship on saturday:(

The strange thing is the estimation shows Tuesday, but I think it should be here on Monday!

FedEx does do Sat deliveries, but only if it was originally sent as a Sat delivery. :(

My rMBP was in that same group. I bet it woulda made it on Friday if it weren't for that customs holdup. Looks like that 12 hour delay is gonna cost us 72 hours in delivery time.

Since the retina is at my local sorting center, I'm expecting it to show up on Monday. :D

Looks like order status page has been taken down for maintenance!?! What's that about#
Perhaps more info: like we are building all June 21st thru June 23rds or
MYYBE there's been a lag in reporting and all our rMBP's have SHIPPED

Was about to ask about the same thing!

I ordered a non retina Macbook Pro which shipped within 2 days.
Would love to track the shipment now.

SO glad to hear others mention the order status page being down. I've been nervous because for some reason it's still not showing up on my credit card. I was charged the night I ordered it, then it went away, and even now that it's shipped-not just preparing- it's STILL not showing up! Kind of nerve wrecking!

My estimated delivery date is July 19...and my original delivery estimates we July 19-25, so it's right on time.

.........and it was all going so well ! Until it reached Germany where it hasnt moved an inch since yesterday.

My 2.6/16/512 MBPr changed to preparing around 6:30 AM then shipped an hour later - US order with EDU discount. Sounds like they opened the floodgates on MBPr shipments this morning.

Thanks for the direct link! I don't know why they would try to push facebook just to use the site.

I think its just an easy way for a web developer to write some quick login code so that each user will have one unique login / entry into the database (one per Facebook account). That prevents the same person from adding 10 entries (not sure if that is necessary here) and also makes it easier for him to code the site without writing his own account creating/ handling code etc. You can thank the Facebook API for that...

We had a Google spreadsheet initially, but people decided to be immature with it (deleting all the rows, racist junk, etc.). There is a newer spreadsheet also referred to in this thread that is protected and has more entries in it, and supports updates via submission of a form only. The FB authentication idea for this site was just another way to deal with the anonymous hooligans wreaking havoc.

Finally received my MBPr on Friday after a rather arduous delivery from Apple/UPS, after changing my address after discovering Apple changed my delivery to expedited, which meant my MBPr would arrive while I was away.

UPS managed to get my address wrong 4 times, trying to deliver to random addresses. Fortunately decided to collect it myself on my return.

Apples customer care initially didnt really care that they screwed up, firstly by not changing the address on the order, then changing it to the wrong address and fortunately did not get it signed by a lucky person in the wrong house!

After some time, Apple decided they would concede they were wrong and are now sending me a SuperDrive as recompense. But I don't know why in the UK why good service is like attempting to squeeze blood from a stone.

Apple initially denied any wrong doing... basically saying that I shouldnt have gone on holiday after stating the expected delivery date was next week! Grrrrr

Waiting till Monday is killing me! At least it should be delivered by 10:30. I don't think I could wait the whole day

Originally ordered through apple store with estimated delivery 7/31-8/6. Saw that post for macmall and now i'm enjoying my new rMBP 2.7/16/768 without waiting 3 weeks :)
