Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

Just checked my flight status on an order due into London Heathrow, looks like it's arrived in Frankfurt to be booked onto another flight to the UK 2 days later?!

Anyone else from the UK get this?

Mine flew straight into Heathrow but has been sitting there since 5pm Saturday, 'not cleared for import'. Evidently they don't do any work on the weekends. *sigh*

Mines on the same flight as yours - just got an email through though. "Your order has left Apple and you will have received a Dispatch Notification email advising you of the expected delivery date.".

Also says "please allow up to 4 days for your order status to update". Hope it comes sooner than Friday :(

Every time I read "2.6", I can rest assured the next post will be by iLikeTurtles asking "Is the upgrade worth the $100"?

The problem is both the number of times he asked the same question (at least 30, indeed), and the places it's asked in; like this thread where the upgrade is off topic. Creates clutter. Plus, the answers are often accurate and alike, yet he keeps on asking.

well im hopig when i get it iil be stremely satisfied with the 2.3.

but hey got the 14 day return policy to change it up.

shipping changed again, ships TODAY. shiped out aug 9

I'd rather download and do everything on my day off, rather than after an exhausting day at work.
 
Mine was ordered on Aug 2nd, had an estimated delivery date of 8/14 (tomorrow)..

2.6Ghz/16GB RAM/768GB SSD

:O You should open it and inspect everything to make sure everything is perfect! You don't want to wait a week to be disappointed if anything! I ordered mine on the 3rd but it's estimated to be here by wednesday :(

Don't you want to use as much as possible in 14-day period to find out any known issues that folks have been seeing on rMBPs ???.

Mine is getting delivered today. First thing i would be checking to see is i got a samsung or LG display. hoping for samsung. :)
 
Ordered 8/2, shipped 8/9, and has been on a FedEx vehicle for delivery since 8 this morning. Woo! (Estimated Delivery Time is tomorrow still though)

I got that email today at 2pm but exp.o is still telling me it's not cleared for import, but I don't know how fast that updates. Oh well I'm assuming the courier is picking it up at 2pm tomorrow as that is the 'requested delivery date'. I've heard it merges with giftcards in Tamworth which is 45-60 mins away from me so fingers crossed I'll be getting it before Friday too!

My MacBook Pro is here! I never expected to have it a week after I ordered it. That was a really great ordering experience.

So far, I'm loving it.
 
Just turned on my rMBP. I've been reading good and bad from existing owners so I was a bit worried. So far everything is amazing. Came with OSX 10.8 (I think that's ML). There was and update so I loaded that. Also, I checked the display and it's a Samsung with no flaws as far as I can tell. Happy first time Mac owner so far! :)
 
Ordered mine on the 11th. Haven't been charged yet, thinking I will be charged when it ships or is preparing for shipment?
