Still Preparing to Ship: Aug 13 @4:15pm

Same boat . It's been "Preparing for Shipment" since August 11.

I ordered the gift card and an Ethernet adapter, the order details read:

Method: Merge In Tnst NL Til

Does it mean it's still in China?
Or does it switch to "Shipped" only once it leaves the Netherlands? (Final destination: France.)

(Estimated delivery: August 23 - 27. Didn't want to believe at first, but it's looking more accurate by the day .)

This will confirm it, is your total weight 1613.0 Kg? My order has to be merged with a student card and an Ethernet adapter, cant see why they cant include it all in the same box in the first place!!! Maybe my estimate is the 20th because I live in Scotland?

runs as fast as my 2011 15" with the SSD sand that was a 2.0ghz, guess it doesnt make much of a difference after all

My order wasn't expedited. Living in Singapore. The shipment came out from Shanghai (11 Aug), sat there for a couple of days, arrived at Hong Kong (14 Aug), then arrived in Singapore this morning (14 Aug).

Just putting this out there again. If you all apple and "complain" or "mention" the 5-7 day delay, they will give you free expedited. I paid for it originally and they just refunded it. Mine is preparing for shipment as of 1pm today.

I don't think I've ever been this excited for a product..besides when I was waiting for my preordered iPhone 4 back in 2010
