Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

Yeah, I had called Apple to upgrade my shipping and got it free because I just mentioned that the standard delivery seemed too long 🙂

I also had the back to school gift card... It just got delivered today. No other accessories.
 
Finally after a long wait, my MacBook Pro arrived today with UPS. Apple has surely tested my patience, refreshing Apple Store, Exp.o and UPS countless times.

Here is a summary of my order processing:

BTO rMBP 2.7/16/512 EDU

Ordered 7/26/2012
Paid 7/27/2012
Preparing 8/6/2012
Shipping 8/8/2012
Merged 8/13/2012
Delivered 8/14/2012

Estimated time 1-2 weeks
Total time shipping 2 weeks, 5 days

My rMBP is pre-installed with ML and has a LSN screen. Have not found any flaws, will have to evaluate coming two weeks.

The merge with giftcard added extra two days, the giftcard came is a seperate envelope. I don't understand why they bother sending the MBP to the Apple facility as they could have easily sent the GC by registered mail.

Btw I live in the Netherlands.

Mine did too, I'm so excited.

I ordered on 8/9, it stayed in processing all weekend and when I checked it this morning at 5am, (8/14) it was preparing for shipment. Two hours later I received an email saying that it had shipped with an estimated arrival of 8/17 by 10:30 am. So that's 8 days total when it gets here Friday.

Mine seems to be super slow, even though it is going to be merged with a gift card. The worst thing is that I can't track it on the Expo site or at UPS 😛.

9 busines days for shipping seems like a long time. Is that with standard shipping?

Estimated Time of Delivery (Prague to merge...): 15th of august

1 day delay 🙁

Its so hard and I am so impatient ^^

But at least est. delivery is still the 21th.

How do you know if it's merging? Or When ?

Wow interesting, my gift card shipped yesterday by itself and it won't merge with the rMBP. The rMBP hasn't shipped yet, I'm actually glad... I don't want to wait more time for the card to merge with the computer and add more time, ha!

They don't do it in US.

I got my GiftCard in 2 days of ordering my rMBP via USPS registered mail.
