Mine is now showing Preparing for shipment! With expedited shipping, is there a chance I'll get it before the weekend here in NYC?
Shipped!! Expected delivery Aug 17th
Really, that soon!? Mine shipped today as well, but expected delivery date is August 23rd.
Did you order the gift card and/or accessories? (Me: gift card + Ethernet adapter.)
Yeah, I had called Apple to upgrade my shipping and got it free because I just mentioned that the standard delivery seemed too long

I also had the back to school gift card... It just got delivered today. No other accessories.
Finally after a long wait, my MacBook Pro arrived today with UPS. Apple has surely tested my patience, refreshing Apple Store, Exp.o and UPS countless times.
Here is a summary of my order processing:

My rMBP is pre-installed with ML and has a LSN screen. Have not found any flaws, will have to evaluate coming two weeks.
The merge with giftcard added extra two days, the giftcard came is a seperate envelope. I don't understand why they bother sending the MBP to the Apple facility as they could have easily sent the GC by registered mail.
Btw I live in the Netherlands.

Mine did too, I'm so excited.
I ordered on 8/9, it stayed in processing all weekend and when I checked it this morning at 5am, (8/14) it was preparing for shipment. Two hours later I received an email saying that it had shipped with an estimated arrival of 8/17 by 10:30 am. So that's 8 days total when it gets here Friday.

Mine seems to be super slow, even though it is going to be merged with a gift card. The worst thing is that I can't track it on the Expo site or at UPS

Wow interesting, my gift card shipped yesterday by itself and it won't merge with the rMBP. The rMBP hasn't shipped yet, I'm actually glad... I don't want to wait more time for the card to merge with the computer and add more time, ha!

I got my GiftCard in 2 days of ordering my rMBP via USPS registered mail.
That's what mine says. Sure it didn't get mixed up?
