for those waiting for their macbooks being dispatched from prague:
i could get an ups tracking code by entering my reference code (80xxxxxx) here:

but it still just says "ready for ups"
my estimated delivery date is 25.06 as well.. which would be a long time from prague to augsburg..

I ordered by phone on the day of the keynote, about 3 hours after it finished.
Ships: 3 - 4 Weeks

16GB, 768GB configuration, but sheesh I got hosed on the delivery time. Not too pleased about that. I dearly hope that Apple's production houses get ahead of their predicted dates; I'm going crazy on my 4-year-old laptop.

I ordered my original rMBP June 11th and was placed in the 2-3 week group. Yesterday I called and changed my order to the 16gb model. The new order says 3-4 weeks estimated July 18-24, but the status says preparing for shipment. Does this mean that somehow I was moved to the front of the line, or is this just an error?

Did you check the "packages of this shipment" part? Mine also said nothing in the top part, but aparrently my MacBook (weighing in on 4.1kg) will be here tomorrow Only the gift card is not sent yet!

If the status really says preparing for shipment you are lucky. It will probably change the status to shipped in the next 24 hours... But it could be a mistake as well... So don't be thrilled to early

and both my parcels (4,6kg = macbook pro 15" and 100g = gift card) are only "ready for ups".. :/

I got updated with an UPS tracking number which already works.
First of: It's UPS, that's really good.
Second: Might be here tomorrow. Already got UPS shipments from NE in less than 18h to Berlin.

Same here. I ordered mine on June 11 around 8 pm. 2-3 weeks shipping with ETA of July 5-10. This is my first Mac and I am BEYOND excited. Just a little impatient though.... I want it now!

That's crazy!! It must be my 2.7Ghz processor that is still holding my 7-10 day up. I'm glad I didn't opt for the 768GB HD or would be waiting even longer. Agggggghhhh.....just ship the thing Apple.

Yeah same thing, I'm not that far away as well. Usually stuff from Apple (that came from Prague) took 3 days from the day it shipped to my doorstep.

Nicely predicted! UPS says they are delivering tomorrow. My rMBP (unchanged base model with the promo gift card) is already in Nuremberg. I was in the 5–7 days group (Apple shipped within five days), Apple said they would deliver between June 25 and 27, now it seems it will arrive on June 21. It looks like my gift card will actually arrive a day later in a separate packet.

Na I was thinking about it for months, but I really needed a new computer and my MBP 2008 lasted me 4 years with zero issues ever. (It was maxed out as well)

I was pretty fortunate that I was able to afford this luxury, but i do work my a$$ off so...
