does it mean anything when my order page begins to reload slower? is apple updating my page?

hahahahaha just being a retard. 2-3 weeks, 2nd-6th July est. delivery, hopefully mine changes status soon! "Still Processing" has become a serious pain in the butt.

Not really. I am in the june 28-July5 2-3 weekers.
Same as you, buddy. If there's any hope of getting it by Friday, it has to leave tomorrow.

I would honestly love to believe you about this, it would mean that things are moving along. But without any proof you are going to get dogs abuse on here.
Here you go

You might be one lucky guy that slipped through the cracks somehow on a system error in order to be a 3-4 weeker to ship early, but forgive me and others for still being skeptical. Your screenshot only proves the order has been shipped. What we also need is a screenshot showing your original shipping estimate.

My Macbook which arrived in NL yesterday has finally merged. Now "On it's way to the customer - delivery on schedule" (direct translation from Swedish). But delivery day is next Friday? Can it really take that long? Come on... :)

No tracking number yet and couldn't track with shipper's reference on UPS.com, but maybe they use another carrier for parcels to Sweden...

How did you place an order on June 15th and get shipped on June 15th?

A-ha! Looks like we're getting to the bottom of his scheme.

I'm afraid I don't have the whole "oh, I'm glad for him" attitude. Misery loves company.

I could find the email to show you the original estimate. Also, it shows I ordered it on the 15th, which is deep as hell in the 3-4 week section. My order probably just slipped through the system somehow...

Obviously a photoshop job...nice try

That delivery estimate widget it pretty useful! Mine says 33 days. :( At least it will be worth the wait!

That's depressing. It's already hard enough to think about, while constantly refreshing this thread and apple order tracking page. Now you have a desktop widget that will mock you every time you look at it. :p

Well considering most 7-10 orders have shipped and there is no movement on 2-3 week orders, my theory is that Apple fulfilled all the early orders (i.e. 3-10 days estimates), and they are now using the "extra time" between the 7-10 day orders and 2-3 week to give some stock to their Apple Store/third party retailers.

I bet you well see lots of stock showing up today tomorrow and friday to these retailers, and well see movement on 2-3 week orders either friday or monday...

Hope its not true but I think thats whats going on.

Nah, there is no slack time between the two, 10 days is 2 business weeks.

I haven't read of one report of people finding one at an apple store today, much less the MIA pallets of them.

For my sake I hope not! Id be happy to pick it up at a store if they had 16gb configs.

Still no updates here. I'm thinking the above suggestion about using the time to replenish stock in stores is an accurate one. Apple has our money, the 2-3 weekers can wait, get stock to stores and make more money! Makes sense. Hope something happens soon though.

Well what I meant by slack is not time in between the shipping estimates, but the fact that they have a whole 7 business days in the 2-3 week group to start shipping, so they have more leeway on when they start shipping for this group...

I know I saw a few posts about this earlier but the MacMall in Torrance and Santa Monica both have up to 30 or so of the base model Retina MacBook Pro the last time I checked today. So if you are in Southern California and are close to either or those cities, they match the education discount if you bring a student ID!

There is no reason for Apple to schedule something like that, all they have to do is put 2 units into the "web order pile" and 1 into the "store pile" the entire time they are doing a production run, just as they are for making piles for Best Buy, Macmall etc.

I'm as surprised as anyone that Apple hasn't put stock into the stores (and have an order in the 2 week group), but lets not over analyze.

Yes, you certainly could, but you haven't...

Apparently people in Santa Monica are all waiting for their max spec rMBPs. What's wrong with bringing those to Chicago instead?

And I wonder how MacMall is getting so many shipments but all the Apple Stores I've called told me 3-4 weeks.
