Ok, so I ordered mid morning on the 12th. So we are coming up to orders placed sometime mid-afternoon to evening on the 11th... Still got ages to wait then...

Ten days on and still on the first days orders... How many people bought these things?? Or are they making only ten a day?

What the hell?

I logged in to my account today. Now I have $2200 for the MacBook Pro in my account again. Earlier Apple had taken them to check that I'm valid for the computer, so it said "reservation"

But now I have all the money back at my account and I can't find any where that Apple has checked and drawn my money again. Weird.. Maybe something is going on here that is saying it will ship soon?

Sorry for my English, a bit stressed now. Maybe nothing is to worry.

Oh. I only got an Excel sheet though. But there's a comment in it. Mfst: C-XXXXXXX VEN-UPS.

Maybe it's been handed over to UPS? Time stamp around 8 am this morning.
 
My order originally suffered from the EDU gift card glitch, in which I was charged the full price of the MBPR + the $100 value of the gift card. I called to address this and they said they were working on the fix for it that it would be resolved before shipping. Sure enough, I check the order details today and they've adjusted the price of the MBPR down by $100 to account for the error and all is fixed!

A little bit of hope that they're actually doing something to my order!

Haha. I spoke with an Apple rep yesterday about my order. He said the demand has exceeded their expectations. They are filling them as fast as they can, and remember that many of these are BTO (build to order). They are getting a lot of buyers from first time Mac owners, like me.

I'm a PC guy, through and through. But the Retina display, small form factor and strong battery life was the trifecta for my new computing needs.

They do that. Not sure why and it was the same for me, but it will be gone soon. :)

Yeah! I found it on UPS with "Track by reference". UPS Standard. Won't get it until Tuesday at earliest, but it's good that I know now. :)

Funny thing about this whole merge story, seems like they'll send me two packages. So why didn't they just ship the Macbook directly from China to me and the gift card from NL?

Put it on the truck and get it to my house! The local facility is less than 15 minutes away. If it's not "Out for Delivery" within the next 45 minutes or so I'm going and knocking down the door!

Nope, still waiting on my launch day to ship. It is BTO 2.7 16 512. I'm probably the latest of the 7-10 days with June 27-Jul3 delivery estimate. Still processing as of this morning.:( June 12th people are still a while off. At least if you are BTO. Stock configs may go sooner. I actually can't remember what time I ordered though. I was on a plane during the keynote. Got home around 2pm PDT and probably ordered not till 4pm or 5pm PDT as I was trying to decide on what config.

Hey I had similar problem. I have called them right after I've placed order, so they have fixed it. Funny thing, yesterday someone was playing with my order and they have applied the same discount for the second time. So now I have $200 off. I wonder if they will fix that before they ship the unit.

I am a 2-3 week group - 2jul - 9jul. Still processing.
 
"Processing" is now my least favorite word EVER. I ordered my base model rMBP on June 11th, around 8 pm. Available 2-3 weeks, Delivers 5 July - 10 July. I was rather hoping that they would be saying this estimate as a 'worst-case scenario', and that it would deliver a few days earlier... but after seeing that some of the 5-7 and 7-10 'ers haven't received theirs yet, I'm guessing that I won't be seeing my beautiful new rMBP for a couple more weeks. :( I am now kicking myself for not ordering earlier in the day when shipping was 5-7 days. I will not be making that mistake ever again! (PS- this is my first mac ever!)

Originally had 5-7 day delivery because I spoke with Apple employees through chat and on the phone with a senior tech that claimed the RAM was replaceable. I still did not believe them after seeing the pictures so I checked the site and saw onboard memory so I cancelled and reordered around 6:30 EST.

Remember it is 5-7 and 7-10 business days and a lot of the 7-10 orders have shipped. Yesterday was the 7th business day, today is the 8th. 2-3 weeks really starts on the 10th business day which is next Monday. So Apple still is ahead of schedule as the 7-10s started moving on the 5th or 6th business day from what I remember. My Air was 1-3 days and shipped on the 2nd day (wednesday). I got it on Monday.

Judging from what everyone is saying, my order has got to be the very last of the 7-10 ones. I probably missed the 2-3 week group by 1hour judging on other peoples' order times. I can't remember exactly what time I ordered but around 4pm PDT.
 
I created a google spreadsheet so that if everyone enter their date we should be able to follow the shipment date and see when one order is going to be shipped I believe that everyone is responsible and no one will erase everything here is the link :
