You snooze you lose, mine is arriving today so ill post a picture just to rub it in :D:D

Honestly I doubt that it will take 3-4 weeks. I believe that Apple lists that as a precaution. After all it's better to deliver early compared to delivering late. They did it with the iPhone 4S and iPad and people were still able to get them in stock at their local Apple stores after the first two weeks. Honestly if it is telling you 3-4 weeks, I think that your MBP will ship out within 1.5-2 weeks (if you ordered a non BTO MBP).

Honestly, you should be frog-marched out of here and thrown into a black hole. That is pure blasphemy 'round these parts. I hope your rMBP is faulty. No wait, better yet, I hope the Fedex guy drops it, and then it becomes faulty! Haha. I'm just kidding. Enjoy your system, nitwit :)

I think they've been coming in 1-2 days before the earliest delivery date that Apple provides. Or it could be the delivery date that the shipping company provides. I'm not exactly sure. So if someone has a 11-16 range, they may get it delivered on the 9th or 10th.

Any news on 2-3 weekers getting further down the build chain? Been 9 days and counting, surely we are coming to the end of the torture...

Wow i didn't realise the HE discount was that large, thats a bargain for a retina mbp. If you select 'college or other further education' instead of 'university education or he' the discount is no where near as big.

Am i right in saying you cant go through the higher education store in the uk unless you are accessing it via university campus. When i try i get a message saying 'Sorry, you can only access the Apple Store for Higher Education when connected to your university's network.'

Still hasn't changed for me but I got that app for my iPhone that tells you the date so I can sperg out and refresh it over and over again wherever I am!

Still hoping Apple ships it early

If you access the page from campus then take a note of the URL it redirects you to, you can then access it from anywhere.

The URLs take the format http://store.apple.com/uk_edu_####### (where the # is a number)

I hate waiting. :(

Waiting is getting a tad boring. I have a ton of great projects I need the horsepower and ram in this bad boy for. Everything is pretty much on hold for a few weeks.

But I guess once the wait is over think of the possibilities for creative freedom! wahahahahaha......

While im waiting for news on building ect. Has anyone tested any 3d software on the new MacBook Pro, specifically modo or such? Would be nice to hear some good reports.

Ahh right i c thanks mate. Is there any issue with warranties and such like? Are they going to ask for a student id if i ever need to take it in for repair under the warranty period? I understand that with HE scheme you get 3 years warranty.

Still "in transit to customer - shipment on schedule"! Since 6 days my status hasn't changed.... :( Anyone else with the same problem?
They said it will be delivered until the 27th but nothing happened until now.

This is torture :(
RMBP 2.3, 16GB
Ordered June 13 approx. 5AM PST, though I called later in the afternoon to upgrade the RAM from the original 8GB. 3-4 weeker. Estimated July 12-18.
It's replacing my ancient 2008 Core 2 Duo MacBook.
I'm refreshing hourly, even though I know I'm in for a long wait..

Of note, when I called to upgrade the RAM, I inquired about the Thunderbolt-to-Ethernet adapter and the dude threw one in for free! It was cool, but the joy has faded and I'm now left with deep longing ;_;

I placed an order for a retina display with 16GB RAM on the 18th. My question is does it say processing until it is ready to be shipped?

So it will say processing until the day it is shipped if I understand that correctly?

I cant believe that they release this and they literally seemed to have enough stock for a couple of days and then everyone else has to wait a month! That is not like Apple.

That is absolutely Apple... It's always like this...
Yes you are right about the processing status, it will change to shipped when it's shipped!

Ordered On Jun 13, 2012

It's funny how ordering on the 11th put people in the 7-10 group, the 12th in the 2-3 weeks group, and the 13th and beyond into the 3-4 weeks group. My delivery time is practically in the same range as anybody who places an order today or tomorrow. Not complaining. Just angry at myself for not ordering a day earlier  lol.

I ordered on the 12th, but got placed in the 3-4 weeks group =( Delivers july 10-16th though. Hope it delivers much earlier!!

Thanks to flextronics I could search for my package with the apple reference number and it seems like my package was finally transferred to TNT!
At least something is moving...

So far I'm assuming people that ordered on the 11th June have had there orders shipped. Anyone who ordered on the 12th had a sniff yet?
