Macbook Pro 2012 Order Status thread (all models)

So to answer myself. The next flight is FXD28 leaving at 8:30PM CST or 5:30AM PDT. So early tomorrow morning and will go via Anchorage and arrive in Memphis ~ 1AM on Sunday morning CDT so 11PM on Saturday night PDT. Then it will travel towards your city on a variety of different options. Hoping for early next week delivery!!
The other option is from Anchorage it instead goes to Indianapolis on FXD22 and arrives about an hour earlier. My Macbook Air went on the Indianapolis flight from Anchorage.
The direct flight from Shanghai to Memphis is FXD90 that is about to arrive in the next hour or so.
Wow, $2.2k-$3.75k for someone to be a complete **** to a spreadsheet. I didn't fill it out because I was pessimistic and knew this would happen. At the same time I was following the spreadsheet being really impressed and then bummed out when it did happen. Well I am still a 2-3 week that ordered June 11th and will still post here as soon as I see a change.
Same here. I was planning on buying a 2012 mac pro as soon as the store went back up (but we all know how that went down...) I didn't need the multi cpu power more just interested in the longevity and upgradability. I've got a 27" ACD and the one two punch of the rMBP + ACD sounded better then a dual 27" setup. (iMac + ACD)
Took me a second to re-asses the situation but I put in my order maybe an hour after I noticed shipping slip to 2-3 weeks.
Just happy to finally see some action in the 2-3 week group!!
While were waiting it would be fun to estimate the number of macbook pros being shipped per flight...bet we could figure it out using the exact volume of the macbook pro box and divide the usable cargo space in one of these planes by that (obviously it would be a bit less but would be a good ballpark estimate).
Yeah, 'cause FedEx flights from Shanghai to US are filled to the brim with Macbooks. There are also a couple under the pilot seats. Better count those as well.

What I don't understand is why people who have delivery dates beyond my June 28-July 5 window are getting status updates while I'm still stuck in processing. For what it's worth, it seems like everyone who has gotten a status change in so far today are people who ordered BTO, whereas my order is stock.
Did anyone by change get a recent download of the spreadsheet before it went crappy from some stupid person.
Yeah it seems like a few days ago it was all Stock being shipped, plus we know the stores also received a bunch of Stock ones in the past few days. Now they finally have started shipping BTOs so maybe they did another run of just BTOs for the past 2 days when no one was getting any shipping notices. Who knows how it really works but if you are looking for a stock one faster you could start checking other stores either online or physical.
My order was 7-10 days and just went to Preparing at noon today. Mine was BTO and must have been the latest 7-10 to ship.
I feel duped though. I need this laptop by next Thursday before I leave the country and they are stocking up stores so people can jump the line. Some customer service that is.
Yeah, it does sort of suck how that always happens. It happens with all the popular releases (ipads, iphones and now this RMBP). When I ordered my ipad3 it was still shipping to me and I could have walked into a store and bought it but it was already on its way.
The thing is Apple has your order and money and they still feel it is important to have the stores stocked to get even more orders and money especially over the weekend.
I think you still have a good chance to get on tomorrow morning's plane and get it well before Thursday though. I'm sure lots more will go to preparing this evening or even overnight.
