MacBook Pro 2021 Launch Day Store Stock

I find it highly unlikely that Apple would not have any laptops at any of its US stores today.

from what ive seen in other countries, all of the sku's were available, the 2 14 inch models and the 3 16inch models, i checked the UK, germany, france, and Australia when they opened, but it seems the US is on a completely different schedule/model than the rest of the world, so who knows!!

sucks we all could have gotten 3 more hours of sleep, what a waste of time, haha. but you just don't know, it could have been 5am, just couldn't chance it
 
Getting close to canceling my Nov 18 16 inch order and taking a gamble with in store pick up? Is that wise?
 
I’m glad I secured that shopping appointment last weekend - i might need it with no laptops being online for store pickup

I don't think that's accurate, i saw all of the standard configs you see when you go on the apple website in the other countries online stores. M1/4tb/64gb isn't a standard config as far as i know.

Yes, so it it looks like the Stores have the five standard configs you can buy online as well as a couple of 64GB models as above.

no, go on the apple website, the 5 configs you can see is what they will have in stock, and it looks like a couple of those will have some updated ram and ssd's, but as far as the chips you have to special order any config ouside of the 5 that are available.
 
Well its been fun - I’m going to head down the highway to be able to be at the store by 8am to see if I can order.

Soo you're just going to be waiting for 2 hours after that for the stores to open? Also, you have to have a pickup window as well..

Seems like US stores unlike other countries are not selling in-store (online).

Even if there aren’t any available online I have a 10am shopping appointment to just go in and buy. I have a Nintendo switch and a book and this forum. I will be fine. Plus there has a been a break in the weather at this hour.
