Our Australian and UK friends were able to place pickup orders by 6AM in their local time. Come on Apple don’t fail us Americans

If it’s 8 am I will be at the store by then - I’d have the place the order from the parking lot.
The store doesn't open until 10AM. I don't see the point of physically going to the store initially, when you can order it online and pick up in store? Also, you have to select a pickup time too.

If you have StateFarm insurance here in the USA, consider skipping Apple Care and add a personal articles policy. It comes out to a couple dollars a month, and has saved my a$$ more than once. They sent me a $4100 check for a new replacement laptop, zero questions asked when it was damaged. They also cover theft and international travel

I've been trying to reach you about your car's extended warranty...

If I can’t get an order online - I will be trying to get one at the store.

Ordered 16" Pro (1TB/32GB) but delivery pushed to Nov. 1 per UPS.

Leaving town for 2 months on Oct. 31... ugh.

Can't decide which stock option to try and get in store... 16gb/1tb Pro or base Max.

My main computer, need to have tons of tabs open in chrome for work, render large images, run virtual machines.

At that point, I'd just get a server. Or use AWS.

I would shoot for the 32gb ram base if you are running virtual machines. Normally they are very ram intensive, but not quite sure how unified memory stacks up against virtual machines

Thanks! Just sucks to have to go for the Max base model just to get a 32gb option in store...

Is it silly that I’ve pulled an all-nighter for the 16” M1 Max base config of 32/32/1TB? Looks like the UK didn’t stock that one?

So silly. Especially considering they don't update in store stock online in the middle of the night.
