It looks like this case is bottomless. I can see the line from whatever it's sitting on going through the USB port.
There is also an obvious plastic protective (?) cover on top, this seem could also be the edge of that plastic.

You can tell by the reflection in the left hand corner that this picture was taken on a northwest headed train at 4:34 pm two weeks ago yesterday however the gps tagged date stamp on the file has been altered to indicate that the train was actually travelling in the opposite direction. It seems obvious that someone is trying to throw us off here into believing that this piece of aluminum is headed one place when it is really headed another. but the most remarkable aspect of the picture that I can't believe no one else has commented on yet is that if you look long enough and hard enough at the ports, what you will see is a sailboat. No wait, it's a racecar. Dangit, I lost it again. I can't seem to keep my eyes out of focus.
The MacBook Pro is already thin enough for the amount of power it packs - the heat problems and the fan noise. It looks a lot thinner than the current MacBook Pro.
I'd rather it was thicker, so better air flow and ventelation so less fan noise and less heat.
Why does it look plastic to me? Even trying to grasp that there could be a color distortion from camera and lighting, it's so far impossible for me to envision that being aluminum. Help, what am I missing?
My friends, I believe what we need here is to hope for the best case we can hope for. That's what this company's all about.
Now while those ones have been saying that the mini-DVI port is a horrible idea, what they're not saying is how much thinner the laptop will be getting because of this.
If you guys look at this you'll realize that when they said they wanted to go 16:9 they would have to make them wider. I'd say that this is a MacBook, but that they are going back to two sizes for them

Maybe the Entry level ones will look like the old Pros and the new ones will look more like the Air.
And the construction from one piece is going to be the same as it is now. What it means is one piece top down, instead of one big one on the bottom and another on the top to house the keyboard. The new still will be one piece from the top, and the opening you see will be filled from the bottom and have a protective cassing and the bottom will be finished by a large flat REMOVABLE batter a la Air. Makes sense no?

Now I pledge to you, my friends, that we will be getting a greater product, my friends, if we all consider the benefits of what this case brings, my friends.
Friends, we will have the best designed laptop in the world. And even though there are other products out there that might have a feature or two over us, my friends, we can take solace in the fact that ours will run longer, my friends, and faster, my friends.
My friends, we, my friends, will, my friends, see what's coming up, my friends, my friends, soon, my friends.
My friends.
PS. My Friends.

Because 95% of the time you don't need any of it. Just like drive bays on the Air, how many times honestly are you working from a CD/DVDWhat's the point have having all that thinness goodness if you have to carry around a bunch of adapters. I've also read rumors of a lone FW800 port, not FW 400. I want thin and light too but not at the expense of needed adapters that I'll probably lose or forget.
Looks like a seam along the edge to me..
