Actually, in fairness to @Jaekae, the store was 3-4 weeks from the moment it went up for stock models, and 2-3 weeks for BTO in the UK. I thought there might have been some bug going on, too.

Yeah for me all the stock models was 3-4 weeks also when the store went online, and BTO models are normally not faster to ship than the stock ones.

Maybe the Apple Website is not up to date or will be updated soon. But how should DHL send the text Message? With my account, I have to insert my "Postnummer" (Germany) into my Address to have this working.

You can register with DHL so they notify yo when you have a package coming. I'm registered, but no parcel expected for tomorrow. In a any case, however, Apple usually ships with UPS.

Additionally, no matter what courier it is, Apple texts you with the delivery info, not the carrier.
I ordered a USB-C to Lightning cable last week from the Apple Store online. It arrived on Friday by Royal Mail Tracked. But Royal Mail sent me an SMS advising me to expect the delivery that day (which didn't need to be signed for, as it came in the regular post). I've never had an SMS from Royal Mail before like that! It was definitely from Royal Mail, rather than Apple.

I got a text from FedEx saying I have a package but the number they gave me returns with "no shipment found..." And I ordered something that might be arriving by FedEx as well, so... The thing is, I have a tracking number for that. So... maybe??? I really don't want to get my hopes up.

Something is going on if that is true... please post the tracking status as soon as it works.

Well now this is interesting. If the other thing has been picked up, the tracking should show as delivered. It could very well be the MBP :D. Fingers crossed.

Have you checked the new support app (iOS)?
As long as you new laptop isn't in there it has not shipped yet.

If the Apple Status System is not up to date, the App could also be inaccurate. So this is no guarantee.

Only NL people can use this app at the moment, so no chance for me to check this.

Same but like DPD it was on the day rather than the day before.

I thought the new support system only shows devices that are logged in with your iCloud account? Or does this app specifically show anything that you purchased?

Why in this day an age is Apple Care a physical thing that not only costs money in terms of printing, paper, cardboard but is then also shipped via courier? Surely it should just be cover you can buy online rather than all this expensive logistical hoop-jumping. It should be completely paperless.

I bought some dongles that arrived a week ago via Royal Mail but I didn't get any SMS alert, from anyone - just a card through the door saying it was too big for the letterbox so would be held at the post office.

When I collected the parcel, It was a large cardboard box, with the two dongles in their respective boxes rattling round at the bottom. If there had been a sensibly sized parcel then it could have avoided the letter box issue, but I digress...

Just checked the app. It's only good for devices you already linked, like you said. Basically a clone of the support page with the attached Apple product you have registered with iCloud.
