Pre-authorization for the full amount has just disappeared from my bank account, so like as it happened with usb-c adaptor last week, the laptop is changing to p4s very soon!!

The fact that the CS either don't know anything or are directly avoiding the conversation is also grounds for being cautious in our optimism. If there's a problem with import or production, I feel like they should just come out and say it. Otherwise, they're just stringing us on.

If there are any problems with manufacturing, the warehouse, or delivery, Customer Service Representatives who speak to dozens of individuals daily are not going to be told anything until after any actual announcement has been made. We were provided a delivery window of the 17th to the 25th; if they arrive on or before the 25th they have arrived on time and exactly when Apple stated they would be received, regardless of when anybody else got theirs. Cards seem to have been charged on Friday, so until we hear otherwise there's no real reason to assume yet they are going to be late.

In the UK.

Ordered very quickly after keynote and given 2-3 week shipping (17-24), still processing. However, I haven't had a tracking number originating from China in years so I suspect we will get dispatch notifications tomorrow for the 17th. Got charged a few days back.

Same, just saw this.

Look on the bright side; the longer they take to ship this week the closer to them arriving next week!

Also no way they will ship tomorrow for the 17th, the date estimates that are not actual launch dates are not stuck to exactly. I am confident (although disappointed) they will arrive next week now.

So, it look like my 15" has shipped. No status change from Apple but I have received a text message from DHL telling me I have a delivery tomorrow. It's coming from Birmingham. I haven't ordered anything else so it must be the MacBook.

That's true... I guess we've all just grown impatient because we keep seeing happy US customers' posts meanwhile we're... not moving.

Sorry, but I don't think this is the MBP.

Nice! Really hope that you'll get it tomorrow, that means that there's some movement in the EU orders. My delivery window start tomorrow too.

My hold has dropped off too!

OMG! How did you get the text message? Have you got a DHL account or something?

My Apple Watch ordered on launch day in 2015 got given a shipping window from 24th april to 8th of may, dispatched on the 23rd...

I haven't ordered anything else so don't know what else it could be and why it would be coming via a 1 day DHL service.

Is yours a stock machine or BTO?

I could see them pumping out stock machines whilst the status at Apple remains at 'Processing' but can't see them doing that for BTOs as you can still cancel the order at that status. The whole point of the Apple shipping status is really to let you know when you can't bail out or change things :)

Sorry to say, but it's up the the cc company and your bank after how many days the hold is just dropped. Mine is still there, still can change shipping address and so on and ordered a BTO the very first minutes.

Can you still change the shipping address at "My Orders" @ apple.com?

Maybe the Apple Website is not up to date or will be updated soon. But how should DHL send the text Message? With my account, I have to insert my "Postnummer" (Germany) into my Address to have this working.

Just saw that I cannot change the shipping address to Packstations (GER) and delivery is only Mo-Fr, so it's pretty much guaranteed that it ships by UPS.

If you use the same address as your paket.de / Packstation account has, it's also working. (Since a few months, actually.) Without entering the Postnummer.
