People have been asking Apple customer support and sometimes the representative will divulge. They are effectively a tracking number for bulk pallets. Using DHL's air freight tracking you can then see where the pallet is and estimate when it should arrive in The Netherlands.

I'll see if I can have a chat with one and get more info as well

Hey guys, I just some more tracking info from apple so made an account to contribute since I've been refreshing this page non stop for 2 days.

Delivery slot was 17th - 24th, ordered to the UK about 5 seconds after the page went live.
15", best settings
New estimated delivery on the 24th, "in transit, on schedule"

Freight tracking URL:
http://www.dhl.co.uk/en/logistics/c...ng_and_applications/air_freight_tracking.html

Tracking number:
6PR4395
(This one seems to have more in the delivery than the others?)

With regards to the estimated delivery date, apple support said:

  • It hard to say for sure, as there are factors that could affect the dates, weather, when DHL put it onto a flight for the UK.

It may come earlier, I cannot say for certain. Once your MacBook Pro has arrive in the UK, we will have a better idea of the delivery date. I understand this makes it difficult for you as you may have to take Thursday off.

If you miss the Thursday delivery, there are options available, you can contact UPS and rearrange a suitable date.
I don't know where UPS came from as I have a DHL tracking code.

Apple said that the DHL tracking option will not work until the MacBook itself is in the UK, which is why we're all seeing nothing on those trackers.

Just talked to the CS. Still in Shanghai, he expected to see movements tomorrow or on Tuesday.
Delivery window was: 23-30
Expected delivery date: 25 November

Not sure. Apple says delivered on 22nd. My UPS tracking says rescheduled date of 23rd. But if it's in Germany, it should take 3 days surely?!
just got an arrival scan at cologne, there's an UPS flight 5X236 from cologne to london everyday at 3:30am....so monday delivery for people in london seems like a possibility now, for me its more tuesday or wednesday X_X

Just for record I ordered a 15 and it was dispatched on Friday 18th and isn't due to be delivered until the 28th.
DHL tracking number simply says they know it's coming as far as I can see
Hoping it'll be here this week but I suspect not

Good spot. Hopefully we see some more scans come the morning! They also fly to East Midlands around 4.30am too so never know which one we'll be on.

It's closer!!!

Contacted Apple UK CS also. Got the air freight tracking code for my order and it seems my order is in Amsterdam since yesterday. Estimated delivery is tomorrow at 6:00 PM, Apple says Nov 24th.

Unfortunately they choose DHL in the Netherlands to deliver our precious good to our homes. Where UPS always tries to get it to my home as fast as possible, DHL prefers to drink coffee for a day for every DHL hub the package has to go to. At least that is my experience. The last two shipments went like this: arrival at the local hub very early in the morning, just 1 km from my home. The next (!) day they decide to deliver it in the afternoon. Waiting a whole day and at 18:30 I received an email that they couldn't deliver because nobody was home (what????). Same thing the next day! This same process happened twice! I hope this will not the case this time, but I wish Apple had used UPS to send it to me. Never had any issues with them.

I really hope that isn't the case tomorrow. I'll call them anyway and ask if I can pick up my order if they are going to deliver on Tuesday.

I'm so glad this is not just the British delivery driver's modus operandi! :p

Yeah mines exactly the same. Got in touch today to ask if they knew any more but said no however to take the date (28th) as a rough estimate and once DHL have got it it'll be pretty quick.

In the DHL delivery of the first batch, they seem to be two progresses.
One had an exception, mine (7CP2824), and was routed differently than scheduled. It should have been gone directly to Amsterdam but somehow missed the flight and got another one which went to Luxembourg instead. No news since this morning.
Delivery on Tuesday?

The other shipment, like 7CP2836, departed a bit later, but directly to Amsterdam as initially scheduled and seems to be in advance, as all the import scans are already in the system.
Maybe delivery tomorrow?

Well, it looks like UPS will win the race... with a delivery tomorrow?

I've been off the thread for the day. What's the latest with the shipments for the first wave of deliveries and are we likely to receive them soon? I've looked at all you guys tracking the air freight but I never got round to getting mine before they closed

I live in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and my MBP 13" is being delivered by UPS (currently in Cologne Germany)

Did Apple actually charge anyone of you already? Mine shipped and should arrive Thursday (Apple) but they didn't charge me yet and the hold fell off.
