There is maybe no stop in Eindhoven. There is a DHL Hub in Amsterdam. So the MacBooks can get sorted there. No need for Eindhoven! Only the shipping Informations came from there. I think our MacBook will never get through Apple distribution Centers. There is no need!
However syncreon one of apples distribution partners, who is also partnered with cargolux (Airline carrying 7CP2811 orders) is actually based in waalwijk, Eindhoven almost next door to the Eindhoven dhl centre. Might just be a huge coincidence but I doubt it. Probably has to go there after Amsterdam

I'm in the 28/11 to 5/12 window and was charged (well, Apple put a hold on the funds) on Friday too :)

Still processing... But I'm hoping to see PFS tomorrow morning (which would be very reminiscent of my last MacBook (15" rMBP in 2012) order)

Same with me guys.

Did Apple actually charge anyone of you already? Mine shipped and should arrive Thursday (Apple) but they didn't charge me yet and the hold fell off.

I got charged about a day after my laptop was "Dispatched". I couldn't even use my card to buy groceries that day.

According to the tracking info I got, I am going to have mine delivered by UPS in the Netherlands. Any info on their hubs and where they are?

Have you created yourself a UPS 'My Choice' account? Its pretty good at providing alerts for incoming shipments before you might otherwise know about them? Not the answer to your specific question, but perhaps something you can make use of nevertheless.

I have a UPS MyChoice account, thank you.

I made a post earlier about high street MBPro prices. It seems John Lewis also is likely to get them before the month is out AND they will price match Curry's I am told AND they offer a two year warranty as standard. So, if you factor that in then it surpassed the 10% student discount that many of you can get.

Of course though, these high street models are likely to be standard builds, so only applicable to a few here.

I'm considering ordering a couple, cancelling my order just to punish Apple, this way they'll have sold the same amount but at lower margins :) Each to their own.

What about Apple retail stores? When will they get them?

At least the largest stores will get them in the same day that the first orders in your locality arrive. E.g. if I get my MacBook on Tuesday, the Regent Street store will have a batch going to them too.

This time you are Lucky. My experience with UPS is always very positive. They always try to deliver the package as soon as possible. It will never stay for long at one of their hubs.
In contrast with DHL....

The first ups shipment for the new MacBook Pro went from Shanghai to Dubai to Cologne. That's where they are right now. Good luck :).

So do you think it will be better to keep checking the website to see if collection becomes available instead of buying online for delivery?

No, you buy online to enter the queue. Then if you suddenly become lucky and fine one in a store, you can cancel your online order and pick the one in store ;).

Can't track my MacBook Pro on DHL Express. Is it because it was shipped yesterday and it's the weekend ?

This message shows up :

Erreur sur le suivi.

I had the same problem but it was solved after 20 minutes or so...

Any news for those how have 6 - 12 Dec as delivery window? I think no but...

Nothing happened for me yet. No bank charge but I'd expect that end of this week/start of next the latest then the ball to start rolling although it's slow

I think these files should be give an exact time slot for delivered

My Mac should arrive at AMS on Monday (21.11) and take 2 days to London (23.11), should take another extra day to Birmingham (24.11). Which is exact same Emt delivered time in my online order.

I think that only the first wave running so slow, due to new paperwork that should be done by customs/regulation authorities and so on. After that, all new models will be in authorities db and it should run much smoother. Or maybe i'm too optimistic. :) I'm in Dec 13-19 wave. :)

Ok 01h20 AM here, still no movement on DHL page... Generally truck are loaded between 03h00 and 05h00 AM... But i think we can forgot delivery for today (monday) :(
