25/11 - 2/12 - still processing guys. But yesterday i went to Czech Apple reseller and saw this 13" beauty [Non TB version]. Really beautiful machine and that screen - awesome.
Apple - just hurry up. Need to replace my late 2012 machine.

Hi,

My MBP 15" will be delivered to London by DHL Express.

It's a 2.9Ghz/1TB/Radeon 460 with 4GB.

Currently stuck on "Shipment information received" in Eindhoven since yesterday morning.

My original delivery estimate was 17-24 November.

I was very excited until I saw this thread: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/graphic-card-freaks-out-with-brand-new-mbp-2016.2015545/ :'-(

Now I'm thinking of returning it without opening it up and ordering a 13" one. I currently have a mid-2010 MBP with a faulty dGPU that was replaced under AppleCare but then failed again in April.

The only reason I got another one with dGPU is because they don't offer a Skylake 15" model with just iGPU...

Hope you guys get a flawless unit.

Regards.

Hi guys
since things are in dhl's hands for many of you and i have been regularly using dhl for quite a while now, let me confirm a few things based on my experience.

dhl first receives data 'electronically' from the company. and as already mentioned it basically means nothing. just that the package will be delivered by dhl once they receive it
it could take hours or days. one never knows. but once dhl receives the package, it will inform you that the packet is processed at the dhl origin center
after that you can follow each step of the paket via online tracking or 'dhl paket' app
one thing is important in online tracking. if you only provide tracking number it will only show two or three updates but if you provide your name and address as well, it will show a detailed process
but the best is dhl paket app. it provide the most details. it also adds all your shipments automatically along with the detailed updates. refreshes automatically as well
the best service from dhl however is 'packstation' where you receive your packet 24/7 but i guess it wont be available outside germany
one last thing dhl shipments move 7 days a weeks and are delivered 6 days a week mon-sat

and yeah, dhl service is super fast at least in germany. delivers mostly next day

Yeah me too. I ordered the 450 and no issues were reported with that one so far. Regardless, one can always switch permanently to integrated GPU if that's what you want.

It's interesting, but I'm one of the few with UPS delivery. Can't believe it takes 6 days to send something from China to the UK

By "Switching permanently to integrated GPU" you mean I could use gfxStatusCard to do so?
That's what I'm currently doing but it's not 100% safe. Sometimes it jumps back to dGPU (for example when browsing apple.com)

Also you can't plug an external display, these always require dGPU as far as I know.

Nonetheless paying over £3k for a new machine with the same issue as a 6-year old one makes me feel like jumping off the window...

By all means, if you have the issue replace the machine as many times as you need until you get a proper one

Apple's shipping solution for EU is a complete joke compared to the super fast UPS service that our North American friends got. :(

Preach. Theirs shipped faster and earlier. Apple could have at least shipped the EU/Asia/Oceania ones earlier than NA so we could have them on the same day...

Can't believe it actually takes 5 days to ship something from China to the UK

Usually 2-5 Days. At least that's what it says on their website (DHL)

And now we probably get them 1 week later :D:mad:

Tx for the above!! Nice info!
I can't find the app in the App Store, do you have a link for it?

I use "Parcel" and "17TRACK" at this moment, but both are less detailed I assume.

I assume it will not change until next week when they arrive from China.
For me DHL guarantees delivery the next day when it gets to them, so if it arrives to them today it's Monday, if Monday it will be Tuesday and so on... don't know about Sunday!

Long waiting process for our MBP lol....
1) waiting years until apple confirmed the keynote:(
2) waiting 7 long days until the keynoteo_O
3)waiting 2-3 weeks praying for changing to p4s:mad:
4) waiting unknown time until apple has shipped the laptops:D
5)waiting unknown time while laptops are carrying from china to the hands of dhl:mad::mad::mad:
6)dhl already has the laptops and now we can follow the way step by step (24 hours probably)
7) waiting the delivery at home very nervous (if you don't have any work to do out and You can't stay at home):eek:o_O:mad::(
8)package at home:)
Bonus) your laptop has no issues or any-gate!:):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)
