Preach. Theirs shipped faster and earlier. Apple could have at least shipped the EU/Asia/Oceania ones earlier than NA so we could have them on the same day...

Apple's shipping solution for EU is a complete joke compared to the super fast UPS service that our North American friends got. :(

I assume that the motivation behind the timing is the price of the shipment. DHL, for a package about the size of the MacBook, takes more than 200€ to ship from China to Italy! US I think it's way cheaper...

What is up with Apple... I ordered mine within an hour and got 18-25 but it's still processing... I don't get this.

I'm beginning to wonder if it is anything to do with the keyboard, I ordered my 15" with US keyboard as opposed to UK keyboard and now people are getting preparing for shipment in my time frame.

Now we're also seeing stock models for countries being shipped, but I don't remember seeing a BTO with a keyboard change shipping unless anybody else has seen one?

What'd you order, and what was your timeframe? I ordered a 15" MBP an upgraded graphics card and US layout to the UK. Estimated delivery was 17th-24th. Once it went onto DHL's systems I was given a delivery date of the 25th.

Not sure what your order timeframes were, but thought I'd share as I'm another US layout user for you to compare with.

So for the TNT people:

I called TNT this morning and they have no information on this package yet. I also called Apple Support afterwards and the folk there were able to tell me that he can see that it has shipped from China but that it has not been handed over to TNT yet. He also said that with my delivery date being the 24th the machine will only be handed over to TNT about 48 hours before the delivery date at which point it will also show up with their tracking. He was also 100% confident that it will not come before but actually on the 24th, so indeed the very last day of my shipping window, which gives me very much sadness. :(

Okay, the support has no idea whatsoever. Right after the call it now popped up in the TNT Webinterface:

Cheers David.
Basically a Stock 15" (256GB, Radeon 450) as I don't have massive requirements for on device storage (Got NAS/Cloud for that) but with the US layout because I'm a programmer and the UK keyboard does my head in.

I'm in the 25th-2nd delivery frame, these have been going PFS since yesterday. The other poster I quoted I think is in the netherlands but is waiting on a machine with a non-region keyboard as well, I guess the fact that yours has shipped blows that theory out of the water as well. Strange why hers hasn't shipped already though.

I've already had a go at one of the apple executive team members (I have his email address from previous correspondence) about this being one of the worst product launches ever.

This was part of the reply:

The supply of any of any of our products vary and are based upon many factors which include market size/tax/vat/delivery/shipping costs, etc.

May I suggest that you visit the following website and leave your feedback there also?

So I replied with what I said before saying that it was outrageous the way they are handling this launch if they are prioritising the US and haven't said so. (His response is an admission of that anyway)

Wow.. I have ordered a BTO, but same window. Still nothing on my credit card and still processing items.
Well, I didn't expect anything to happen before next week based on the other stories from this forum. .. can't wait to see how fast it wil go into shipping - with the weekend coming up it will probably be mon, tue or Wednesday next week

Now my shipping to Switzerland is also visible at TNT tracking (I just had to delete the two last digits). It shows me delivery on 23rd, on Apple page 24th.

Original ETA was 23-30 November. Now saying 30th. :\

Also, weirdly the money got back to my account. Never happened to me before. Don't know it it's an Apple thing or an issue with my bank.

How did you get the tracking number to work? I've got TNT too and neither Apple CS nor TNT have a traceable number they can provide yet.
On a positive note, in the meantime the Estimated delivery changed from 24th to 23rd :)
