I will keep an eye on mine and get back to you when mine goes into shipping.
Regarding the time - if it actually first being sent on Monday then you could be unlucky if it takes 6 days because then you will reach Saturday and there is no delivery there so it will end up with Monday 28th... but nothing is clear before the shipping company actually starts delivering with the direct route to YOU !
It doesn't help that I ordered a dongle that apparently is NOT being shipped from China, so it will be merged with my order later. .. and only THEN will I get the tracking information. Literally, Apple needs to chill.

You might get some early tracking details if you follow the info in this post.

I noticed this with my order also, something like "ships from multiple locations" hopefully that doesn't mean my delivery slips the other side of the New Year :'(

Well either way I think your MacBook would have traveled to a central warehouse in Europe by cargo plane and there after sent to you - so hopefully your order is not delayed by the fact of the added adapter - cross my fingers for you!!

Jesus, you need to chill. I have not seen one positive thing from you in the whole time. We get it, you want your macbook, same as everybody else! You will get your macbook, same as we, some will get it a day before the end of their window, some one day after, there really is nothing to be done about it, and you complaining heavily is not gonna do anything about it. Neither is calling Apple's CS twice a day! Please, relax, do something else, do not focus solely on this and it will be with you sooner than you imagined! Everything will be alright! :)
[doublepost=1479550363][/doublepost]For the people interested, my TNT shipment to Switzerland is also still sitting in China and waiting to fly out, so so far we are all in the same boat. :)

How do i do a smc reset?

https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201295

If the battery is nonremovable

  1. Shut down the Mac.
  2. Plug in the MagSafe or USB-C power adapter to a power source and to your Mac.
  3. Using the built-in keyboard, press Shift-Control-Option on the left side of the keyboard, then press the power button at the same time.
  4. Release all keys, then press the power button again to turn on your Mac

I have a right to complain if my delivery is four days delayed. Especially since we all know the reason European shipments are late is because they prioritized the U.S. market. I can complain as much as I want to, because I paid a ton of money for this. As far as I'm concerned, customer service is useless, so they might as well act as my personal therapist.

normally it does tend to add about an extra day or so. Although all orders may travel through the warehouse, they don't necessarily need to wait for merging. LPT for future pre-orders, order the device and any extra peripherals separately, can speed up the process by atleast a day.

Correct me if I'm wrong but on touch bar you don't have any power button... so how would you do that?

I think you are absolutely right. I would definitely call them and see if you can at least get a gift card or something comparable. However I would still wait a few days, maybe it still arrive in time. After that go nuts please :D

The Touch ID serves as the power button.

I bet they're gonna be like "oh, but it says ESTIMATED delivery, so you know, we're not actually at fault here, your expectations were too high, we have too many orders yadda yadda"

I spoke to CS today they said my order is still in china and that it can take 5 days to deliver to UK. Went to dispatched yesterday.

OK Apple, I'm ready! :p

Got an extra power brick yesterday in my local Apple Store in Frankfurt, Germany but they still didn't have any clue when the Display models arrive.

My 15" shipped on thursday and is scheduled for in store pickup on tuesday (22nd) so I guess it'll probably arrive monday and they'll unpack it so I get the notification for pick up the next day. No early delivery, huh? :(

I've taken the day off on tuesday, I must go to the customs Office to get my Satechi USB-C HDMI/Ethernet/USB-Adapter and then I'm good to go.

Can't wait!

I think we wont see any movement at DHL tracking until next week. I've lost hope that the macbooks arrive this weekend at Endhoven and will be delivered to us on monday..

This has to be one of my worst orders with Apple. My orders always arrived early. Now, paying £2,400 for a laptop for it to arrive on the later end of my delivery date.. Kind of disappointed to say the least.

Pretty sure the Touch ID button is like the menu button on the iPhone, so it should work as a way to power up/down

https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT201150

  • MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2016) and MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2016, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports): The power button is adjacent to the Touch Bar and integrated with the Touch ID sensor. Press Touch ID (power button) to turn on your Mac.
MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2016), MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2016, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports), and MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2016, Two Thunderbolt 3 Ports) also turn on when you open their lid or connect them to power, as long as your battery has some charge.

and for more general info about the Touch ID button
