Hello Macrumor forum users!

I recently purchased my first ever MacBook Pro,

my Macbook model is the: MacBook Pro (13-inch, Late 2011)

Here is a link to the ram in question:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Corsair-...hash=item337a018482:m:m2cpkct9Q8PVSMb2gVug0FQ

I messaged the selling and they replied with this:

So I'm just double checking to see if this is true.

Thank you,
Nathan

OWC MAKE THE COMPATIBLE RAM FOR UPGRADE ONLY ON THESE MODELS.
  • Mac mini (Mid 2010)/Mac mini Server (Mid 2010) – Model ID: Macmini4,1
  • 13″ MacBook (Mid 2010) – Model ID: MacBoook7,1
  • 13″ MacBook Pro 2.4GHz (Mid 2010) – Model ID: MacBookPro7,1
  • Mac OS X 10.7.5 or later is installed.
GOOD LUCK WITH THAT.

Thank you for your post Nathan. I also recently purchased a used MBP 13' [Late 2011]. I am using 4 Gb RAM and wanted to know about 16Gb.

Do update us if the RAM is working properly.

You are using El Capitan? I did not update from Yosemite, since I heard not much difference for our MBP. Do update us.

Thanks in advance. :)
