Wow some people here are so out of touch. The plane may have had technical problems and it needs to get fixed. And people are like I don’t care if the pilots die in an unsafe machine give me my MacBook now!

I remember my train was cancelled due to a suicide, someone jumped onto the tracks and got hit, and some selfish hipsters at the train station were yelling at the poor railway staf trying to help. Like I don’t care for the reason and I don’t want to use the next train in one hour I want you to put a replacement train on the tracks right now! It’s a sad Me Me Me society we live in.
Terrible hypo. In this case, UPS has more than one plane. I don't think anyone is saying anyone's life is worth getting a computer earlier. UPS is not a small company and to think they don't have one extra plane laying around to replace the issue is unreasonable. Comparing complaints about this to hipsters after a suicide is silly.

You are welcome wish I were in the market these machines look awesome but now I am retired my early 2019late 2018 MacBook 15 is plenty good for me I tend to use my iphones and ipad pro’s a lot more so hard to justify almost $3K on a new one. Maybe in two more years I tend to update my mac’s about every 4-5 years.
 
This is exactly my tracking as well. My last “tracking” point was also that 1:17am on the 27th. We will see what happens but not holding my breath.

UPS blamed... China virus shutdown... COVID/flights/pilots (can't say it)... China Golden Week holiday...

I am in Calgary. Canadians got the shaft by not being offered expedited shipping on these MBP.

Nope, I'm US Southeast. North Carolina. No change either. Still 1:18 last update. Still check back tomorrow for Delivery (since Monday night).
 
I have ordered 2 Macs, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air. A few hours after October event.
The Air just showed up by FedEx a few minutes ago.
While the Pro is still in Shanghai with UPS. Latest update was on the 27th of October at 1:17AM EST
 
Mine left Alaska this morning, still no delivery date. Now the real question is does UPS Worldwide Expedited use UPS ground or Air after it gets to the USA?

They will likely use air. I think what's going to happen is it's going to arrive to Louisville today/early AM tomorrow to get on a jet that leaves Louisville to your city. I think you might be able to get your laptop tomorrow if you're lucky, Monday at the latest.

I‘m guessing for whatever reason, @effraxofwug was likely in different container and had a chance to leave Shanghai. But considering a lot of us in November 3-5 group see same scan otherwise, I’m getting a feeling that we will finally see movement today or maybe Saturday at the latest. I placed an order as soon as pre-order started, but I guess how different BTOs were put together was not as in orderly fashion, which explains why some got luckier. But let’s keep our fingers crossed team November!

I wonder if we can convince Apple to allow for Saturday delivery (provided they get out of Shanghai today)? Its probably too late to add that tho...
 
I just got off the phone with my Business Rep and they have no access to consumer orders so he can't check on mine. He did say that they are shipping hundreds of thousands of Macs right now and delays are going to happen, but this one seems much longer than usual.

My 14" was a consumer order rather than business since I had a $500 consumer credit available.
