So the 13" retains the superdrive. LAME! Please don't be true.
Get an Air or a 15" MBP.

Hmm, you'd think that would be the other way round (given that the 15" is larger therefore would have a larger battery)![]()
And a specked out vaio Z is nearly $2000, what was your point again?
Get an Air or a 15" MBP.![]()
No more white MacBook?
Does that mean entry level Aluminum MacBook will now be $1099?![]()
Awesome!!
At dinner with colleagues but can't resist refreshing MR every minute lol.
I dont have an external tho! Oh well, ive only had it for a week im sure i can get everything back on this one... Do you think i could return it thursday or should i do it before then so theyre not like wtf?
That if someone like Sony can manage 1920x1080 on a 13" screen, why can't Apple? And I didn't say anything about price, just screen resolution.
And also, a MBP with the same specs as the $1,999 Vaio is $2,199.
Your point again?
According to the French article the 13" would have a 16GB SSD for system files and a 320GB HDD with a BTO option for either a 500GB HDD or 256GB SSD. It seems to indicate the 15" would have a 16GB SSD and a 320 or 500GB HDD plus a BTO option for an additional SSD in place of the optical drive. So up to 3 drives in the 15" then.

That's a pretty lousy res on the 13".
Sony Vaio Z can manage 1920x1080 on their 13inch model.
Not trying to to flame, just thought screen tech was one of Apples prides.
So if you swap the superdrive for a SSD, you'd then end up with a notebook with three (!) disks: one small SSD for the system, the default classic HDD and then another SSD in the superdrive-bay?
I can only imagine the chaos in the Finder. That doesn't sound like Apple at all.
