anybody else notice the weight of the old and alleged new mbp 13" are exactly the same?
4.5 pounds (2.04 kg)
What a freaking disappointment. No SSD and resolution upgrade, i might as well save my money and keep my current 13" pro.
But, too late, i sold my pro on eBay already..... ****** you Apple.
Sandy Bridge is SUPPOSED to have USB 3.0 built-in natively.
The graphics are less then stellar - here's to hoping for better graphics in the 15 inch or at least a better graphics option.
I don't get what people are complaining about.
an i5 in a 13" MBP is amazing along with the incorporation of lightpeak.
I know integrated graphics isn't the best, but on low settings, the i5, 4GB of ram, have got to allow the game to run pretty smooth right? I have an iMac with less RAM and slower CPU (but with graphics card) that can run Steam games EASILY.
Any spec-whores wanna chime in?

umm didnt the other rumors talk about having THREE USB ports as standard? [maybe the third one is supposed to be lightpeak or something ?!?!, even though lightpeak is not a USB] idk..something seems fishy.
Are you ****ing kidding me? Please, please please link me a $399 PC with i5 sandy bridge CPU please. PLEASE. And 1366x768 isn't that much better than 1280x800. Both resolutions suck. But any Acer type computer cannot compare to the screen quality of the MBP 13".
Liquid metal is just a pet project for Apple. Good for making those iPhone SIM paperclips but nothing more.
Now TRANSPARENT aluminium, that's the future![]()
does it play starcraft 2 yes. I have the original macbook unibody(got burned bad on that purchase...) and it plays starcraft 2. Are the graphics turned up all the way, no not at all. But it's definitely playable. So these new ones should do a much much better job than mine.
No, it would be reasonable. Anything above that for this machine in 2011 is plain ridiculous.Honestly, if that is the $999 model, it's a crazy good deal.

Yes, and It also supports wireless direct transmission of audio and video in HD, but that doesn't mean they'll enable or even support the feature. This is Apple we're talking about.
THAT looks real. Finally, we see a picture that does not look like a hoax! At the end of it, the clear plastic was torn off. I'm believing everything now. Thanks for the pic!
You got evidence to say otherwise? Those images are completely fake and whoever wrote "confirmed legitimate" on the front page is a frigging idiot.
