Besides updating to core i5/i7, anyone want to place bets on them updating the casing to replace keyboard but a gigantic touchpad with no button?Seriously though, I wonder the refresh might include a casing update so people can differentiate between an i5 and a C2D. Maybe not considering my PowerBook G4 and 2006 C2D look the same.

The Aluminum body is working out really well right now, considering the great heat transfer.
Some body customization options couldn't hurt though. Etching anyone?
With as expensive as it is to get etched at a 3rd party place...I doubt if Apple offered etching it would be worth it! Probably be like $400
I don't know what costs etching entails exactly, but knowing Apple, they'd over charge for it.

I don't like the idea of engraving tools so close to computer parts. Maybe techniques have improved?
ill pass on etching and stick to a can of spray paint![]()
You guys, etchings shouldn't be portable. They're for getting her to come up to your pad.
Do you seriously even care? What would it even matter?![]()
One day is not going to kill anyone in waiting for this update. If it's Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday fine. But at least we are finally getting this update. I have been waiting since November for this because I need a computer that will still be viable in six years. So maxed out 15 inch here I come some time this weekend!!!!!!!!
No I didn't. Could you please provide links to support that claim?
Or at least define "Education Market"? US? Europe? World? K-12? College? University? Graduate? ???
More than likely, it's due to the large number of 4 GiB, 6 GiB and 8 GiB systems with 64-bit Windows 7 systems that are being sold.
My wish-list:
1) Blu-ray dies a painful death*
2) Movies/Music/etc. moves to cloud/flash only
3) Optical drives die a painful death*
*painful death does not necessarily indicate pain
MBP 13" @ april 13 will be very nice
wait...wait...wait
I don't think he was perpetuating a rumor so much as attempting to confirm or deny. Not at all odd to seek facts. Or douchey, whatever douchey is.
MBP 13" @ april 13th @ 1300 with an I3 will be hiarious...
